Or Fat Jerry and his terrifically horrible day
Attorney General William Barr is testifying in front of the House Judiciary committee today. And Jerry Nadler is having a bad day because of it.
It started with the opening statement from Jim Jordan of Ohio. He showed a video of the riots and the corresponding (lack) of media coverage.
Nadler complained that the minority did not give them a 48-hour notice that they were going to be playing the video. He then had a meltdown over some not wearing masks.
Then it was Barr’s turn to testify, and Jerry’s day got even worse.
During the testimony, Nadler and the rest of his Democratic colleagues refused to let Barr answer and blamed federal law enforcement for the actions of the rioters. Doug Collins of Georgia played the perfect straight man to Barr however:
To underscore the unserious nature of this hearing, I leave you with this.
