President Trump signed an executive order preventing illegals from being counted towards redistricting. The order says that for the purposes of reapportionment, “it is the policy of the United States to exclude from the apportionment base aliens who are not in a lawful immigration status…to the maximum extent feasible and consistent with the discretion delegated to the executive branch.”

“Today’s action to exclude illegal aliens from the apportionment base reflects a better understanding of the Constitution and is consistent with the principles of our representative democracy,” Trump said. “My Administration will not support giving congressional representation to aliens who enter or remain in the country unlawfully, because doing so would create perverse incentives and undermine our system of government.  Just as we do not give political power to people who are here temporarily, we should not give political power to people who should not be here at all.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Rep. Ted Yoho got into it today.

Yeah, I don’t buy the last part. The Hill is a partisan rag, and the accusations of curse words being used is unsourced. For the record, Yoho’s office denies the Rep used those words.

Police in Minneapolis found a body in a pawnshop that burned on 28 May. At this point police aren’t saying how the body got there but it appears it may have been there for nearly two months.  25-year-old Montez Terrill Lee has already been charged with arson for setting fire to the building. He may be facing additional charges, based on the investigation.

Ohio state House Speaker Larry Householder and four others were arrested Tuesday over their alleged connection with a $60 million bribery case. A spokesman for U.S. Attorney David DeVillers described the case as a “public corruption racketeering conspiracy involving $60 million.”

Afghan teen Qamar Gol used the family AK to gun down some Taliban that had killed her parents. A local police chief told a reporter that the Taliban was after her father, a village chief and supporter of the Afghan government, and ended up dragging him and his wife outside of Gul’s home before killing them.

“Qamar Gul, who was inside the house, took an AK-47 gun the family had and first shot dead the two Taliban fighters who killed her parents, and then injured a few others,” Habiburahman Malekzada, the police official, said.
