New Jersey gym owners Ian Smith and Frank Trumbetti have been arrested and charged in connection with their refusal to stay closed in accordance with NJ governor Phil Murphy’s orders. The two were charged with one count of fourth-degree contempt, one count of obstruction, and one count of violation of a disaster control act each. The criminal contempt charge carries a potential 18 month jail sentence.
Seems Tater’s mouth may have gotten him in some trouble. Seems Brian Stelter retweeted something about the settlement his network reached with Nick Sandmann. This would violate the networks confidentiality agreement with Nick.
According to a new CAPS/Harris poll, 77% of Americans think that crime is rising in major cities. They’re also concerned that prosecutors aren’t doing their jobs. The poll also indicates some groups are using social media to coordinate their actions.
There were 62 people, including a 13 year old girl, shot in Chiraq this past weekend, 3 fatally. The weekend wasn’t as deadly as last weekend, when 71 were shot, 12 fatally, so this weekend was an improvement. You’ll be glad to know that so far there haven’t been any arrests made in connection with any of this weekend’s shootings.
