Last night was the 88th straight night of riots in Portland. They were somewhat overshadowed by the riots in Kenosha. Portland police declared the riot after AntiFa/BLM attempted to set fire to the Portland Police Association building.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation estimates there have been more than 12 million guns purchased through July this year. That’s a 70% increase over the same period last year. That number includes nearly 5 million first time buyers. Good. What’s the saying? An armed society is a polite society or something like that.
Tropical storm Laura has been upgraded to a category one hurricane. She’s expected to make landfall on the Gulf Coast in the Southwest Louisiana/East Texas area sometime late Wednesday or early Thursday. Evacuation orders have been issued for Beaumont, Galveston and Port Arthur Texas and a wide swath of southwestern Louisiana ahead of this storm.
In case you missed it, Nancy Pelosi stepped in it. Again. According to Nan, anyone who disagrees with her radical leftist view is an “enemy of the state.”
She made the inflammatory comments during an interview with MSNBC host Ayman Mohyeldin.
“The Russians were there and they are there now 24-7, trying to interfere in our election. But they’re not the only ones. We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, and sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and our honoring our Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in the Congress of the United States,” . . .”Enemies of the state,”

This would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. The Marxists over at BLM are equating silence with violence now. A group of loudmouths interrupted a bunch of people eating dinner in DC yesterday. Well, watch the videos. . . .
Silence is violence, but actual violence is peaceful protesting. By the way, get in my face like that while I’m trying to eat, well it ain’t gonna end up real well for you.
