There are a couple of items relating to the LA Sheriff’s deputies that were shot over the weekend today.

First up, the female deputy performed above and beyond with her actions after the shooting. She applied a tourniquet to her badly injured partner and moved him to a defensible position and maintained guard all while having a bullet wound to her jaw and arm. In consultation with the family, LA county sheriff Alex Villanueva released a photo of the as yet unidentified female deputy standing over her partner.

Next up is the absolutely unforgivable response to the shooting by the Lynnwood city manager. Jose Ometeotl posted on his Instagram that “Chickens come home to roost” following the ambush shooting. The Lynnwood city council is weighing their options for discipline at this point.

The Queen of un-selfawareness struck again. Hillary tweeted “We deserve a president who cares whether his fellow Americans live or die.”

The replies were savage:

Lauren Witzke, a Republican U.S. Senate candidate from Delaware, held a pro Trump Rally Sunday. And apparently it triggered someone so much they had to throw eggs at the rally. Several children and two adults were hit by eggs.

The Trump administration won a victory on immigration today. In a 2-1 decision, the 9th Circuit said the deportation of up to 300,000 El Salvadoran illegal aliens can proceed. The illegals had been granted “Temporary Protected Status” under a law passed by Congress in 1990 due to conditions in El Salvador. That law allowed DHS to perform periodic reviews and revoke that status if it found material changes to the circumstances in El Salvador.
