The Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit that focuses on global conflict, released a report about the unrest sweeping the country the past several months. Of the 633 incidents recorded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter activists. Data for 51 incidents lack information about the perpetrators’ identities. BLM activists were involved in 95 percent of the riots for which there is information about the perpetrators’ affiliation.

You can read the report at the link above, but honestly, other than the raw data, it’s not very useful. It’s full of the usual leftist gaslighting . . . .


The DOJ has announced the indictment of a group of Chinese hackers. Allegedly, they targeted financial institutions, video gaming companies, social media, telecommunications, government, defense, education, and manufacturing and individuals.


According to a new Rasmussen survey, 65% of those polled say the violent protests are important to their vote in the presidential election this fall, with 41% who say it’s Very Important. That percentage jumps to 76% if the respondent had violent protests in their community.


Good news for the residents of Gotham. Mayor De blasio is furloughing himself and his entire staff. It’s only for a week, but it’s a good start. The furlough of 495 staff members is expected to save $860,000 between October 2020 and March 2021. That’s a drop in the bucket considering the multi-billion dollar hole the city is in.



Hurricane Sally made landfall this morning near Gulf Shores Alabama. Currently a tropical storm, with sustained winds of around 50kts, the storm is moving north-northeast at around 7 mph. The storm damaged roofs, flooded streets and cut off power to hundreds of thousands. More than two feet of rain was recorded at Pensacola by noon today.
