ACB was on Capitol Hill today. She met with several senators while there, including Dem Joe Manchin. Unfortunately, Chuck Schumer couldn’t find it in him to meet with her.
As if you needed more proof that mail-in voting is a bad idea. The NYC board of elections sent out as many as 100,000 absentee ballots that have the wrong name pre-printed on the included return envelope. Under NYS election law, signing a return envelope that does not have your name pre-printed on it invalidates that ballot.
The Ohio governor Mike DeWine has called out the National Guard to help provide security for tonight’s debates. Additionally, the Cleveland area courts have made preparations for a surge in arrests.
Speaking of the Debate, we should have a live feed of the event up just before 2100 tonight.
