I have no idea what the sign language interpreters for Joe Biden make, but it’s not nearly enough.
The latest heroic attempt at signing for Joe occurred at “an online convocation of the Poor People’s Campaign” virtual event Monday night. Joe went off script while talking about environmental justice during one segment. At one point, the sign language interpreter put his hands up as if to say I have no idea. Watch:
