With a shrunken majority, House leaders are discouraging fellow Democrats from taking jobs with the incoming Biden administration. They are concerned the Republicans could retake the chamber in the 2022 mid-term elections.
Keep in mind, currently it appears that Nancy is in a position that the loss of even four votes could adversely impact any legislation she proposes.
Through sources, it appears Nancy is telling Representatives
“Now is not the time to leave,’”
Other sources are saying Steny Hoyer, House Majority has urged members to stay out. Further, it may be he has asked the Biden “transition team” to not “poach” House members due to their slim majority.
