Texas Gov Lifts Mask Mandate & Business Restrictions Says ‘Its Time To Open Texas 100%’
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Tuesday that he is lifting Covid-19 restrictions in his state.
“COVID-19 has not disappeared”, Abbot said, “but it’s clear that state mandates are no longer needed”.
“it is now time to open Texas 100%” he said.
RT reports: Abbott delivered the “exciting news” during a speech to the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, informing the assembled small business and community leaders that the mask mandate – in place since July – was no more.
“We must now do more to restore livelihoods and normalcy for Texans by opening Texas 100 percent,” Abbott said in a statement on Tuesday – Texas’ Independence Day. “Make no mistake, Covid-19 has not disappeared, but it is clear from the recoveries, vaccinations, reduced hospitalizations, and safe practices that Texans are using that state mandates are no longer needed.”
With this executive order, we are ensuring that all businesses and families in Texas have the freedom to determine their own destiny.

The announcement that businesses would be permitted to operate at full capacity going forward doubtless came as a relief for those establishments struggling to return to full operation in the wake of one of the worst storms in Texas’ history. The snowstorm late last month took out power, heat, and other utilities to over four million Texans, killing dozens.

Why Did Whitmer Give a Secret Taxpayer-Funded Payout to Resigning Health Director Amid Her Own Nursing Home Scandal?
There’s something shady going on in Michigan involving its Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the exiting state health department director Robert Gordon, who received hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer dollars for a reason the public hasn’t been made aware of yet.
According to The Detroit News, Whitmer’s administration paid Gordon the pile of cash in a deal that required silence from both parties:
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s administration agreed to pay former state health department director Robert Gordon $155,506 in a separation deal that also required the two sides to maintain confidentiality about the circumstances that led to his abrupt departure.
The agreement is the clearest evidence yet that the split between Gordon, a central figure in the state’s response to COVID-19, and Whitmer was not amicable, and it shows the Democratic administration used taxpayer funds to ease his departure.
On Feb. 22, one month after Gordon resigned without explanation, he and Mark Totten, Whitmer’s chief lawyer, signed the four-page agreement. The state agreed to pay Gordon a total that represents nine months of salary and health benefits, and he released the state from any potential legal claims.
Why Gordon stepped down on January 22 a mere eight hours after he signed an epidemic order to lift the suspension on indoor dining is still a mystery as both parties refuse to say. Financial payouts between government officials that include non-disparagement clauses and legal protections aren’t new, but this one, in particular, seems a bit suspicious given the situation Whitmer finds herself in.
As of this writing, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is embroiled in his own scandal revolving around some 15,000 dead due to his decision to put elderly New Yorkers in unsecured nursing homes. Democrats are currently making sexual harassment claims against Cuomo the center of the story, seemingly as a distraction. Making everyone pay attention to sexual harassment claims would allow them to contain the much larger issue of the thousands dead because if that’s focused on Cuomo then people will start asking about Whitmer as well, seeing as how she’s guilty of doing the exact same thing.
It’s unclear if any of these payments for secretive reasons have anything to do with the fact that Whitmer is also guilty of putting healthy elderly Michiganders in unsecured nursing homes, resulting in 34 percent of Michigan’s COVID-19 deaths taking places in these nursing homes. What’s more, Michigan’s Attorney General made it clear that he will not be investigating Whitmer’s part in the debacle.
Comment: Also, Speaker Pelosi appears to be attempting to redirect everyone’s attention away from the deaths in these Senior’s facilities led by Democratic governor’s – why?

“THE BATTLING BOYS OF BENGHAZI”
We’re the battling boys of Benghazi,
No fame, no glory, no paparazzi.
Just a fiery death in a blazing hell,
Defending our country we loved so well.
It wasn’t our job, but we answered the call,
Fought to the Consulate and scaled the wall.
We pulled twenty countrymen from the jaws of fate
Led them to safety and stood at the gate.
Just the two of us and foes by the score,
But we stood fast to bar the door.
Three calls for reinforcement, but all were denied,
So we fought and we fought and we fought ’til we died.
Sidney Powell: ‘More than Enough Evidence’ to ‘Reverse Election in at Least 5 States’
Former prosecution attorney Sidney Powell claimed there is “more than enough” evidence in the public to more to reverse the election in at least five states.
Sidney Powell
Sidney Powell said:
“There’s all kind of precedent for fixing what happened in this election from Bush vs. Gore to other cases as well… Fractionalized votes.”
“That’s exactly what we have here from a computer algorithm that we can prove in multiple counties, and it could prove across the country if anybody would issue an order allowing inspection of the machines,” Powell said.
“The very fact that Dominion and other companies are not allowing inspection of the voting machines ought to tell everybody all they need to know.”
‘The very fact that Dominion and other companies are not allowing inspection of the voting machines ought to tell everybody all they need to know’
“Federal law calls for election records to be kept for 22 months.”
“In this case, it requires forensic evaluations of the machines and looking at all of the paper ballots,” she added.
“There were counterfeit ballots. People were saying, ‘Oh, well they did a full audit in Georgia.’”
“Well, if you just keep running the same counterfeit bill through the same counting machine, you’re going to get the same result.”
Powell ended by saying:
“There is enough evidence in the cases before them or enough evidence in the public now to more than reverse the election in at least five states.”
‘There is enough evidence in the cases before them or enough evidence in the public now to more than reverse the election in at least five states’
In January, Dominion Voting Systems filed a lawsuit against Powell for $1.3 billion, accusing her of defaming the company with claims of massive voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Dominion CEO, John Poulos, said Powell’s allegation that Dominion was created in Venezuela was false.
Powell alleged that Dominion had ties to former Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez.
Sidney Powell served in the Department of Justice for 10 years and for the last 20 years has devoted her private practice to federal appeals.
She was the youngest Assistant U.S Attorney and later became Chief of the Appellate Section for the Western and Northern Districts of Texas.
Her peers recognized Sidney Powell as a “Super Lawyer” and named as one of the “Best Lawyers in America.”
Comment: I suppose that we could act surprised regarding the SCOTUS ruling today, relevant the final filing (below) to be given consideration in the 2020 election irregularities – however, Mandamus Denied and no explanation provided. Punctuated with – REHEARINGS DENIED. I believe that concludes the denial of hearing 5000 affidavits filed by witnesses to election irregularities.
Currently, Dominion Voting System have filed lawsuits against attorneys Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, & Rudy Guilani and CEO Mike Lindell. That could make for a very interesting discovery process.

While trying to catch up on the news of the day before heading into work today, I ran into an interesting bit of analysis form Michael Thau over at RedState. He posits the sexual harrasment and bullying charges levied against Andrew Cuomo are a distraction.
After thinking about it for a few minutes, I can’t say that he’s wrong. . .
One of the questions Thau asks is why now? The first accuser to come forward, Lindsey Boylan, claims the harrasment happened in 2018. Why wait three years? Why come forward at the exact moment Cuomo find himself under serious fire for his handling of the WuFlu in nursing homes?
Whether it was intentional timing or not, the effect has been pronounced. In the time since the accusations made national news, google searches about the Cuomo nursing home scandal have dropped precipitously.
Michael Thau
As Thau says in his article, that sort of seems odd seeing as we’re still in the middle of the pandemic. The timing also seems suspiciously providential to Cuomo given the fact both the US Attorney General and the FBI are looking into his handling of the chinese coronavirus.
I find it interesting that there are three other governors with a ‘D’ after their names that had similar nursing home policies that led to thousands of deaths. The governors of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, all prominent dems, forced nursing homes to take covid positive patients.
I’ll leave you with an exit question, and this thought crossed my mind previously; are the democrats offering up Andy as a sacrificial lamb to protect the others?
remember always, we taught them everything they know

the 6th moon of creation in June
Strawberry moon
The medicine of the strawberry is reconciliation. It was during this moon cycle that communities usually held their annual feasts, welcoming everyone home, regardless of their differences over the past year, letting go of judgment and/or self righteousness. The strawberry is the first berry to ripen it is thought to be a good medicine for the heart and the teeth

as the maple sap begins to run, we learn of one of the main medicines given to the anishnaabe which balances our blood and heals us. During this time, we are encouraged to balance our lives as we would our blood sugar levels. This moon also teaches us the time of year when the sap is running for maple sugar harvest.

There was a time when the bridge wasn’t there
Patrick Stantiford provided this photo from the 1950s.
It shows the line waiting for the ferries on the State Dock in Mackinaw City.
It was taken by his grandfather.
a few comments
“I painted that Bridge”
” I sat in the ferry lines as a child of the early 50’s waiting to get cross so Dad & Grandpa could get to Munising hunting. What an experience that was for a little girl “.
My dad would only hunt in the Upper Peninsula. He and my grandfather would be gone until Thanksgiving. My dad talked about the days of the ferry rides to cross the straits. Icy, cold and windy! I always think of my dad on November 15 with a smile!
