Wikipedia Tried to Change the Definition of ‘Recession’ 41 Times
Economists Julius Shiskin declared in 1974 the definition of a recession as being two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth. It has remained the definition until July 2022.
Wikipedia, apparently, believes they are more knowledgeable than real economists. Editors from the left-leaning site attempted to change the definition of “recession” 41 times in about one week.
