Gather around

No fire and Brimstone today. Today we focus on good people

It’s known as the Kiss of Life:

The year 1967 J. D. Thompson with his co-worker Randall G. Champion was repairing the telegraph line. Randall accidentally touched a high voltage line and his heart stopped. Thompson did not hesitate, approached him from a pole 120 m away and began to provide him first aid. When he felt a pulse, he carried him down, where he took turns in CPR with other colleagues until paramedics arrived. Randall Champion survived.

Now before you roll the eyes and engage the stinking thinking what Pop smoke official has shared

I’ll explain what you are seeing

Well Colonel it was like this, I’m against killing as ever, but when I see them fellas dropping around me, those guns were killing hundreds, maybe thousands, there was nothing nobody could do, but to stop those guns, so that’s what i did

. ” You mean you did it to save lives?”.

Yes sir, that’s why

I shall leave you with a prayer

Grandfather, whose voice I hear in the winds
And whose breath gives life to everyone,
Hear me.
I come to you as one of your many children;
I am weak… I am small…I need your wisdom
and your strength.
Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever
behold the red and purple sunsets.
Make my hands respect the things you have made,
and make my ears sharp so I may hear your voice.
Make me wise, so that I may understand what you
have taught my people and
The lessons you have hidden in each leaf and each rock.
I ask for wisdom and strength,
Not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able
to fight my greatest enemy, myself.
Make me ever ready to come before you with
clean hands and a straight eye,
So as life fades away as a fading sunset,
My spirit may come to you without shame.
