As 2024 is coming to an end, and on behalf of the entire team here at MilVets and Patriots, I’d like to say thank you to each and every one of you that visit this site. You make it all possible.
To Why not, AuntiE, Chance and Walt I give a special shout out. I may not show my appreciation for all of your hard work as much as I should. It is something I am aware of and actively – if not effectively – working on.
2024 was a tumultuous year, climaxing with one of the most consequential presidential elections of my 57 years on earth. With a modicum of good fortune, the whole thing might just turn around for us.
If you are celebrating tonight, please be safe. If you’re doing what I’m doing – going to bed early – good on you. Your body will thank you tomorrow.

2025 is shaping up to be a busy and interesting year. The 119th Congress is supposed to be sworn in on Friday 3 January. The Electoral vote certification is Monday 6 January and Trump is to be sworn in on Monday 20 January.
I teased some changes to the appearance of the site a few days ago. They are still coming, it’s just taking a bit longer than I expected. Once they do go live, I’d appreciate any feedback, especially anything that breaks or isn’t working the way it used to.
