Sharing knowledge can be viewed as a Patriotic item. Show ya something, I do have reason to do so. She blew her shoulder out with a 30.30 in her 70’s, following season I talked her into writing her story,

went to prison for running moonshine, but that story is for another time perhaps.

Had taken her to a doctor, he’s talkin tests and one test was showing her cholesterol was higher then the doctor liked so when he said, I’m going order up some statin drugs to lower it, and that’s when she said ” No you will not” She proceeded tell him, she had friends in nursing homes, known them for like 60 plus years, now they don’t know where they are or who I am. Statin drugs came on the market in the 80’s, dementia/alzheimers spiked in the 1990’s, still with us. Her body was worn but her mind was spot on. Her book was all from memory; stories told to her and her story. She was also well read. She knew stuff.

Here’s a Patriot she’d say something like, you’re g’damn right about that doctor. No fluff, the straight skinny in layman’s terms sharing useful knowledge
