Sorry about the late and somewhat abbreviated RNN today. The news items will mostly be updates on previous stories I’ve covered in RNN.
Your editor had an appointment at the VA this morning. Nothing major, but it went from being what should have been an hour tops to a 5 hour ordeal. Anyway, that’s enough whinging, on with the show. . .
Starting off in the Middle East, it looks like Iran has blinked. Multiple reports indicate what is left of the Iranian leadership is burning up back channel communications trying to wrangle a ceasefire before there isn’t anyone left of the Regime. And this is all back channel, neither the US or Israel have direct communication channels to the Ayatollahs.
I am not convinced it will work, nor am I convinced it is in anyone’s – other than the Mullahs – best interests. Bibi has already made a statement about it.
That is the correct take. There is a unique opportunity to take out one of the most destabilizing forces in the world right now. It should be exploited to the fullest.

Minnesota authorities caught the alleged shooter Vance Boelter last night. He was crawling through a field when he was apprehended. It has been reported he was located by a drone operator.
As of this writing, Boelter has been charged with 2nd degree murder in the deaths of Mn State Rep Melissa Hortman and her husband. There is something odd about this whole deal, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but trust me, I’ll keep digging.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is a retard. I mean that most sincerely. I have to wonder how she can string enough words together to make a sentence. Her latest act of retardation is to say the riots – which she had previously denied were even happening – will end when deportations stop.
