In example 1,275,933,573 of why Britain has fallen to the non-English (and Welsh and Scots), a man in the Lake district was arrested for saying – and I quote – We love bacon.
Why? Because it might offend muslims. The Bobbie who banged him up can be heard saying that the word could constitute a racial offence. I would say – not being a barrister nor a peeler – that the phrase doesn’t even rise to the offense of ‘public disorder’. Sir Robert Peel – the founder of the modern English police forces – would be appalled that his famed organization has fallen so low.
DNI Gabbard has stripped the security clearances from 37 former intel officials. You likely do not know any of them, I only know a couple.
. . . In doing so, they undermine our national security, the safety and security of the American people and the foundational principles of our democratic republic. This is why, at @POTUS‘ direction, @ODNIgov directed the revocation of the security clearances of 37 current and former intelligence professionals who have abused the public trust by politicizing and manipulating intelligence, leaking classified intelligence without authorization, and/or committing intentional egregious violations of tradecraft standards. Our Intelligence Community must be committed to upholding the values and principles enshrined in the US Constitution and maintain a laser-like focus on our mission of ensuring the safety, security and freedom of the American people.
