Random News and Notes 20 October
The ceasefire in Gaza is back on. After Hamas – or Hamas related militias – fired on an IDF unit dismantling terror infrastructure yesterday killing 2, the Israelis struck back hard. They killed 18 including a senior Hamas commander in targeted strikes. Immediately after the retaliatory strikes, Bibi said they were done. At least for the time being.
What was interesting to me was the press reaction. I shouldn’t have been surprised, but nearly every outlet blamed Israel for the violations.

As I told you yesterday, this is all happening amidst Hamas carrying out reprisals against Gazans they seem not loyal enough or whom they suspect of collaborating with Israel.
It’s been a year since our current President was a McDonald’s employee.
See kids, you can be anything you want. Donald went from fries to the White House in less than a year.
We have been watching the Virginia and New Jersey governors races fairly closely here at MVAP. Abigail Spanberger in VA is a pro-trans, lefty loon and needs to be defeated. Mikie Sherril in NJ is a liar and a cheat (allegedly) and need to be defeated. A big step in that direction was taken today. President Trump has endorsed Winsome Earle Sears in VA and Jack Ciattarelli in NJ.
. . . Spanberger] in the debate. She couldn’t answer the most basic question!”
“Also, New Jersey…both of the Democrats will drive energy prices through the roof!”
“Vote REPUBLICAN.”
Jay Jones must ALSO lose for Virginia AG. Vote Jason Miyares (R)!
VOTE, VIRGINIA REPUBLICANS!
Both races are tight. The Trump endorsement may tip the balance.
Gustavo Petro is the president of Colombia. He is an avowed Marxist and was a member of the M19 Marxist terror gang that ravaged parts of Colombia in the 70’s and 80’s. He also has a big mouth. The State Department revoked his visa because he ran his mouth about US troops ignoring orders while in NYC for the UN meetings. Needless to say, President Trump is not a fan of Petro or his policies.
One of those policies is turning a blind eye to the drug trade. While it is not as bad as it was during the heyday of Pablo Escobar and his Medellin cartel, it is bad. Some 90% of the powder cocaine that reaches the US comes from Colombia. Today, the Trump administration took steps to end that.
. . . Columbia. It has become the biggest business in Columbia, by far, and Petro does nothing to stop it, despite large scale payments and subsidies from the USA that are nothing more than a long term rip off of America. AS OF TODAY, THESE PAYMENTS, OR ANY OTHER FORM OF PAYMENT, OR SUBSIDIES, WILL NO LONGER BE MADE TO COLUMBIA. The purpose of this drug production is the sale of massive amounts of product into the United States, causing death, destruction, and havoc. Petro, a low rated and very unpopular leader, with a fresh mouth toward America, better close up these killing fields immediately, or the United States will close them up for him, and it won’t be done nicely. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President Donald J. Trump”
