Random News and Notes 19 January
This is a slightly longer version of a video making the rounds on social media this morning. There is little context to the video, but the location is purportedly Pueblo, Colorado. The video shows an altercation between a protester who was blocking the road and a driver. It did not end well for the protester.
While the reaction is understandable, it may cause the driver issues. Depending on the location, beating the sh*t out of someone under similar circumstances could see charges of assault levied against the driver.
Enoch Burke is a history teacher in Ireland. He was arrested today for the 5th time in 3 years. The reason? Burke refuses to call a male student ‘they’. Yup, you read that right. Irish authorities have arrested and jailed a teacher for not using a student’s ‘preferred pronouns’.
. . . McShane’s demand that he use the “they” pronoun for a male student. No School Principal has the right to make such a demand.
The courts have utterly failed to uphold Enoch Burke’s constitutional rights.
Anti-Christian transgender ideology is being forced upon children in every school in this country.
True Christians can never bow to this ideology. God is clear – male and female created He them.
Teacher Enoch Burke has spent over 560 days in Mountjoy Prison. Judge Brian Cregan released Enoch last week, only to bring him back this week, making him a scapegoat to the nation.
Unfortunately, this is not a surprise, at least in Ireland. Despite being ruled by a center-right coalition, the political history of Ireland leans far, far left.
This one is downright funny. Pennsylvania Goevrnor Josh Shapiro says that the vetting team for Kamala Harris was fixated on Israel in their interviews with him. They went as far as to ask if he was an Israeli agent.
Shapiro questioned whether or not the inquiries were simply because he was Jewish at the time. Subsequent events seem to have borne that out. Harris’s campaign was one of the most anti-semitic in US history.
Oh, and it’s Martin Luther King Jr. day. Happy whatever to all who celebrate.
