    Dastardly Deeds

    Featured image via grok.

That is the apparent cause of action Rep. Al Green (D-TX) cites in his articles of Impeachment. Green filed the articles against Trump this morning. He also gave a floor speech. Watch:

This isn’t the first time Green has filed articles of impeachment against Trump. He did it several times during Trumps last term as President.

While Green, who represents the southwestern portion of Houston, isn’t the dumbest rep on the Dem side, he’s damned close.

Having read the US Constitution from the Preamble to the closing clause, I can assure you that dastardly deeds appear nowhere in that august text. And while I cannot be 100% sure, I am reasonably confident that those two words do not appear together in any part of the US criminal code.

I have to wonder if dastardly deeds rise to the High Crimes and Misdemeanors requirement for impeachment. Not that this is going anywhere. At least not without a couple of Vichy Republicans helping out that is.

The phrase does bring to mind a song. That song was the inspiration behind the prompt that generated the featured image for this post; Trump dressed like Angus Young playing a guitar.

  • Turdeau Bends the Knee

    Turdeau Bends the Knee

Featured Image: Donald Trump and a powerless cuck

Well, that didn’t take long. Earlier today I wrote about Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum caving in the face of US tariff pressures. Word has come out that outgoing Canadian Premier Justin Trudeau has bent the knee as well.

There were indications that Turdeau wanted to open negotiations after Mexico folded earlier today. Around noon on the east coast several outlets noted that a call between the two leaders was in the offing.

Turdeau released a statement about the proposed agreement.

    https://twitter.com/JustinTrudeau/status/1886529228193022429

I just had a good call with President Trump. Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan — reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.

In addition, Canada is making new commitments to appoint a Fentanyl Czar, we will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, launch a Canada- U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering. I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million.

Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together.

Similar to the agreement with Mexico, there is a pause of 30 days before the tariffs go into effect so a more permanent deal can be reached.

Up next, Denmark and Greenland. . .

  • Mexico Blinked

    Mexico Blinked

Featured image: Claudia Sheinbaum and Donald Trump

I’m sure you are all aware of the Tariff war taking place in North America as President Trump works to secure the borders of our country. He ordered that tariffs of 25% be implemented on imports from both of our neighbors, Canada and Mexico, to get them to secure their sides of the border.

Well, the day before the levy was to go into Force, leftist Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has blinked. She agreed to move some 10,000 troops to the border area to help with security there.

The agreement between Sheinbaum and Trump pauses the implementation of the tariffs. This short term agreement allows for more structured and detailed negotiations to occur. Hopefully this will lead to a permanent solution to the porous southern Border.

The tariffs would have wreaked havoc with the Mexican economy. The US is Mexico’s largest trade partner with some $798 billion in bilateral trade. Last year, Mexico exported some $500.7 billion worth of goods to the US. That total is around 80% of all of Mexico’s exports. It’s also around a quarter of the total Mexican GDP of $1.8 trillion.

I hope that Canadian Premier Justin Trudeau has as effective of advisors around him as Sheinbaum does. We all know he isn’t smart enough to figure this kind of thing out on his own. The Canadian dollar has already started to plummet in value vs the US dollar. The exchange rate has declined by 1.432% compared to its value 7 days ago.

  • Noem Rounds ’em up to Send ’em Home

Noem Rounds ’em up to Send ’em Home

Newly sworn Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was on-site during an early morning ICE raid in NYC today.

The former South Dakota governor, who was sworn into office on Saturday, joined an operation in the “sanctuary city” of New York early Tuesday to witness ICE agents nab illegal aliens, most of whom are criminals.

    https://twitter.com/Sec_Noem/status/1884198149574770980

Enforcement operation in NYC. Criminal alien with kidnapping, assault & burglary charges is now in custody – thanks to @ICE.

Dirtbags like this will continue to be removed from our streets.

A spokesman from DHS said the dawn operation targeted “murderers, kidnappers, and individuals charged of assault and burglary.”

The thing that irks me is the fact that DHS and ICE knew where these ‘fine folks’ were. I mean, if Boden and Co. had done their jobs, these criminals would be gone already.

  • Colombia is Finding Out

    Colombia is Finding Out

Yesterday the commie president of Colombia started the FA part of the FA:FO formula by refusing two repatriation flights of illegals from the US. Gustavo Petro issued a statement saying:

Los EEUU no pueden tratar como delincuentes a los migrantes Colombianos.

Desautorizo la entrada de aviones norteamericanos con migrantes colombianos a nuestro territorio.

EEUU debe establecer un protocolo de tratamiento digno a los migrantes antes que los recibamos nosotros.

    The translation reads:

The US cannot treat Colombian migrants as criminals.

I deny the entry of American planes carrying Colombian migrants into our territory.

The United States must establish a protocol for the dignified treatment of migrants before we receive them.

You and I both knew that wasn’t going to go unremarked by the White House. And it hasn’t. President Trump has fired back, bigly. Here are the results of the FO part of the equation:

And that is just the start. If those repatriation flights are not accepted and damned soon, I expect the pressure to get much more intense.

I get the feeling that the President and his team were waiting for the first country to fuck around like this just so they could lay down a marker about finding out. This reaction is a vivid warning to any other country who was thinking about refusing the repatriation of their citizens who entered the US illegally. Frankly, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

  • The First One Hundred Hours

    The First One Hundred Hours

    Featured image via grok

That was the title of an official White House press release. That release detailed much of the Trump administration’s actions for the first few days. Here are some of the highlights from that release:

    • President Trump is securing historic investments just days after being sworn in.
    • President Trump secured $500 billion in private sector investment for the largest AI infrastructure project in history, with Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman all stating that it would not have been possible if not for President Trump’s election victory and leadership.
    • President Trump is already securing the border and arresting criminal illegal immigrants.
    • The Border Patrol is reporting a significant drop already in attempted illegal crossings.
    • ICE is at work rounding up criminal aliens.
    • The Trump Administration immediately shut down the CBP One app, which “paroled” over 1 million illegal immigrants.
    • Deportation flights have already started and the military is assisting with the effort.
    • The Department of Homeland Security reinstated official use of the term “illegal alien” over “undocumented noncitizen,” and the DOJ announced it would be taking action against lawless sanctuary city policies.
    • President Donald Trump signed an executive order to designate the cartels as terrorist organizations.
    • President Trump signed a series of executive orders ensuring the elimination of discriminatory DEI practices and ensuring merit-based hiring.
    • DEI staff are being placed on leave.
    • The Federal Aviation Administration must now return to merit-based hiring.
    • President Trump ended an affirmative action mandate in federal government hiring.
    • President Trump signed an executive order affirming the reality that there are only two sexes.
    • The State Department issued guidance that embassies should only be flying the American flag, and not any activist flags.
    • President Donald Trump signed an executive order telling agencies to stop remote work practices and directing workers to return to the office.
    • The State Department subsequently ordered workers to return to working in the office.
    • President Donald Trump is unleashing American energy.
    • President Trump declared a National Energy Emergency to unlock America’s full energy potential and bring down costs for American families.
    • President Trump rescinded every one of Joe Biden’s industry-killing, pro-China, and anti-American energy regulations, empowering consumer choice in vehicles, showerheads, toilets, washing machines, lightbulbsand dishwashers.
    • President Trump withdrew the United States from the disastrous Paris Climate Agreement that unfairly ripped off our country.
    • President Trump paused all new federal leasing and permitting for massive wind farms that degrade our natural landscapes and fail to serve American energy consumers.
    • President Trump reversed the burdensome regulations that impeded Alaska’s ability to develop its vast natural resources.
    • President Trump terminated Biden’s harmful electric vehicle mandate.

And that doesn’t include the Cabinet appointments. Marco Rubio has been sworn in as Secretary of State, Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security and John Ratcliffe as CIA director.

All in all, it’s a good start. The President and his staff have hit the ground running and show no signs of slacking off.

  • Deportations Have Started

    Deportations Have Started

The promised deportations of illegal aliens have started.

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the deportation flights have begun.

    https://twitter.com/PressSec/status/1882759560613527770

Deportation flights have begun. President Trump is sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences.

The post above is accompanied by a pair of photos showing cuffed and shackled individuals filing onto C-17s.

One of the photos was taken at Biggs Army Airfield at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, U.S. Customs and Border Protection sources said. The sources added that the plane in the image holds 80 people and departed for Guatemala on Thursday at 5 p.m. local time.

“We can confirm that overnight, two DOD aircraft conducted repatriation flights from the US to Guatemala,” a U.S. defense official told Fox News.

The Guatemalan Migration Institute confirmed in a statement that 79 Guatemalans returned to the country, including 31 adult women and 48 adult men, according to NBC.

Tom Holman, the Trump Border Czar, says the deportation opponents will use any means to delay the removals.

    https://twitter.com/kylenabecker/status/1882624368251199493

HOMAN: We’re gonna take a lot of hate, we’re going to be sued. Every day, numerous times.

I think you’ll see the left try to control the media. They’re going to show the first crying female, the first crying child. Say how inhumane we are. But, they won’t talk about the 340,000 children that they’ve failed to take care of. They’re not gonna talk about the young women who’ve been murdered in this country at the hands of criminal cartels.

Hate all you want. Push the misinformation all you want. We’re not going to slow down, we’re not going away. We’re going to get this done.

You can rest assured that the left will try any-and-everything they can to stop or impede these removals. They run contrary to their replacement dreams.

  • More Trump Pardons

    More Trump Pardons

This afternoon, President Trump issued pardons to 27 individuals charged and convicted of FACE act violations. The FACE – Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances – act criminalized protests outside of abortion clinics.

Among those pardoned are Eva Edl: An 89-year-old Holocaust survivor. Bevlyn Williams: A young mother who was sentenced to nearly four years in jail. Fidelis Moscinski: a Franciscan friar who received 6 months in jail. Paul Vaughn: A father of 11

The remainder of those pardoned include:

    • Lauren Handy (57 months in prison)
    • John Hinshaw (21 months)
    • Jonathan Darnell (34 months)
    • Herb Geraghty (27 months)
    • Jean Marshall (24 months)
    • Joan Bell (27 months)
    • Paulette Harlow (24 months)
    • Bevelyn Beatty Williams (3 years)
    • Heather Idoni
    • Calvin Zastro

There had been some confusion and consternation about these pardons. There were false reports that some pardons had already been issued when they had not. More people were upset that it was taking so long. All I can say is thank God that they happened, regardless of timing or any other factor.

  • John Ratcliffe Confirmed as CIA Director

John Ratcliffe Confirmed as CIA Director

Trump nominee John Ratcliffe has been confirmed as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. The vote, which occurred earlier today, was 74-25.

After graduating from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1989, Ratcliffe was a lawyer in private practice; he left his law firm in 2004 to join the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Eastern District of Texas. In 2004, president George W. Bush appointed Ratcliffe to be the chief of anti-terrorism and national security for the Eastern District of Texas, within the U.S. Department of Justice.

60 year old Ratcliffe then served as Representative from Texas’s 4th district first winning in the 2014 election and served until he was tapped as DNI by Trump in 2019.

Following the end of Trumps first term, Ratcliffe worked for several different conservative think tanks like Heritage and the America First Policy Institute. He was a contributor to Heritage’s Project 2025 on intelligence related matters.
