Ted Cruz Agrees to Argue Pennsylvania Election Case if It Gets to the Supreme Court

Monday, Senator Ted Cruz said he would make the oral arguments before the Supreme Court if they agree to take up the case challenging the results of the Pennsylvania election.

    His statement reads as follows:

“Petitioners’ legal team has asked me whether I would be willing to argue the case before the Supreme Court, if the Court grants certiorari. I have agreed, and told them that, if the Court takes the appeal, I will stand ready to present the oral argument,” Cruz said in a statement that appeared on Fox News. “As I said last week, the bitter division and acrimony we see across the Nation needs resolution. I believe the Supreme Court has a responsibility to the American People to ensure, within its powers, that we are following the law and following the Constitution.”

Senator Cruz has appeared before SCOTUS on nine occasions.

Election Voting Systems by County – PA, MI, WI

The main post image showing the entire United States displays election methods used by counties in 1980.
The three state maps in the post show what election voting technology and hardware companies service the counties of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, currently.

Just some maps that show what voting systems are used in counties of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Still working on other states, and other numbers, and will put those up when they’re ready. This is black and white data, no opinion or shading – sources noted.

As you will see, not every county within a state or commonwealth uses the same voting system. Even within counties, townships and cities can use different election technologies and systems. Examining a voting system’s integrity cannot be done by looking at a state or commonwealth, in totum. For example, the Pennsylvania counties most in dispute regarding vote “glitches”, Allegheny and Philadelphia, use Election Systems and Software (ES&S) which is not, Dominion Voting Systems, technically. Sydney Powell stresses this is a software issue and that machines coming from vendors other than Dominion are also running dirty software.

MAJOR ELECTION SYSTEM VENDORS AND DEVICE MANUFACTURERS ON THESE MAPS, in alphabetical order:
    – Clear Ballot Group Inc
    – Dominion Voting Systems
    – Election Systems and Software
    – Hart InterCivic Inc
    – Premier Election Solutions **
    – Sequoia Voting Systems *
    – Unisyn Voting Solutions
    – Vote-PAD

    * SEQUOIA VOTING SYSTEMS: Sequoia is based out of California and was owned by Smartmatic (please see NOTE below) until 2010 when they went bankrupt. Dominion Voting Systems acquired Sequoia in 2010.

** PREMIER ELECTION SOLUTIONS: Premier Election Solutions (formerly Diebold Election Systems, Inc or DESI) was a subsidiary of Diebold until 2009 when Premier was purchased by Election Systems and Software (ES&S). Dominion Voting Systems purchased all of Premier’s primary assets from ES&S in 2010.

NOTE: Smartmatic, aka Smartatic Corp or Smartmatic International, is a company created in 1997 by three Venezuelans, Antonio Mugica, Alfredo Jose Anzola and Roger Pinate while working for Panagroup Corp – claims have been made that Smartmatic elections system technology was created to rig elections, period. The system has been used all over the world. Until 2018, when Smartmatic ceased doing business with Venezuala (they are privately funded, incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in Florida,) their election system was the major vendor for fourteen Venezuelan general elections. They do not have a sterling reputation when it comes to honesty and integrity. Rudy Giuliani and Sydney Powell have said a Madrid, Spain-based company, Indra Sistemas, is a subsidiary of Smartmatic and the actual owner of Dominion Voting Systems. They also say Smartmatic software is running in Dominion and other company’s election systems machines; Dominion claims their machines use their proprietary software, only.

AG Barr Greenlights Investigations Into Fraud

Attorney General William Barr greenlit investigations into voter fraud.

According to a memo to U.S. attorneys, investigations “may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State.”

States that want an investigation launched have until December 8th to file them, including recounts and court battles over the results. The Electoral College is scheduled to meet on December 14th to finalize the election’s outcome.

    Election 2020 Update

First off I’d like to thank everyone who stopped by the live coverage of the Election night returns. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Special thanks to HAJ 5.0 for all his help last night.

Now, on to the update. Here’s where the Presidential race stands.

Joe Biden 238 EC50.1% Popular vote69,672,239 total votes
    Donald Trump213 EC48.3% Popular vote67,101,248 total votes

Of the states yet to be called, and keep in mind these aren’t official totals, Trump has significant leads in Pennsylvania, 3,034,458 votes to 2,522,829 for Biden with 64% reporting, North Carolina, 2,732,104 to 2,655,392 with 94% reporting, Georgia, 2,382,470 to 2,280,258 with 94% reporting. I think it’s safe to call North Carolina and Georgia for Trump at this point. Pennsylvania still has a lot of votes to be counted, but should still break for Trump, 500,000 votes is a big hill to climb with the districts remaining there.

The remaining states, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada, are considerably closer although they’re leaning towards Biden at this point. Nevada is the closest race this morning, with Biden holding on to a razor thin margin, 588,252 to 580,605 with 67% reporting. Wisconsin is at 1,630,334 Biden to 1,609,586 Trump with 95% reporting. And the final battleground state Michigan is leaning Biden at 2,582,814 to 2,548,672 with 96% reporting.

If Trump wins the states he’s leading in right now, NC, GA and PA he’ll have 264 electoral votes. In order to retain the White House he will need to pick up at least the 6 electoral college votes from Nevada.

The Senate seems safe for the Republican party, so far, only two seats have been flipped. In Colorado where John Hickenlooper beat incumbent republican Cory Gardner, and in Arizona, Mark Kelley beat incumbent Martha McSally. One of those losses was offset in Michigan, where John James beat Dem incumbent Gary Peters.

As of right now, the Republicans picked up 5 net seats in the house.

Stay tuned for additional coverage as the remaining states get called. Results are expected from Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin later today after they suspended the count late last night.

  • Election Day Musings

    Election Day Musings

I’m going to preface this post with a caveat: I doubt we will get a definitive answer as to who won tonight. Several key states, notably Pennsylvania, don’t even start tabulating mail-in ballots until tomorrow.

There have been a near record number of ballots cast already. 97 million people have already voted, and that represents 71% of the total from 2016.

As I noted in yesterday’s View, businesses in cities across the country are forting up in advance of expected violent protests. I don’t think it’s going to matter who is eventually named the winner, there’s going to be riots. And it’s not the right that’s going to be the ones rioting.

There are several Court challenges pending regarding deadline extensions and signature verifications. While the Supreme Court did not issue injunctions in several cases, the cases are not done. The conservative wing of the court, led by Clarence Thomas, has signalled their intentions regarding courts rewriting election laws. It’s clearly stated that the State legislative bodies are the only bodies allowed to make or change election laws, and the conservatives on the high court have made it plain that the way they intend to rule. Thank God ACB got confirmed, because John Roberts is a disaster.

While we’re on the subject of court challenges, unless there’s a landslide victory by either candidate, something that I find very unlikely, expect a tsunami of lawsuits contesting the results. Think Bush v Gore times 10,000. There have already been more than 400 suits filed in regards to this election.

I’m not a big one for predictions, they have a way of biting me on the ass, but because I think I need to offer mine, here goes.

I think Trump gets reelected, but by a tiny margin, 281 – 257 in the electoral college and loses the popular vote by about a million votes. The Dems hold onto the house, but lose at least 10 seats. The Senate stays Republican, but we won’t get that total until the run off in Georgia come January.

Give us your predictions in the comments section below, I’m truly interested in what y’all think is going to happen.

Stay tuned for election night coverage here at Milvets and Patriots later tonight and continuing until we have the final results.
