    Newly sworn Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was on-site during an early morning ICE raid in NYC today.

    The former South Dakota governor, who was sworn into office on Saturday, joined an operation in the “sanctuary city” of New York early Tuesday to witness ICE agents nab illegal aliens, most of whom are criminals.

    A spokesman from DHS said the dawn operation targeted “murderers, kidnappers, and individuals charged of assault and burglary.”

    The thing that irks me is the fact that DHS and ICE knew where these ‘fine folks’ were. I mean, if Boden and Co. had done their jobs, these criminals would be gone already.

    We recently learned that New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ plan to ship busloads of illegal migrants to rural upstate counties resulted in the leaders of Orange and Rockland Counties declaring states of emergency to stop the plan. On Thursday, three more counties (Dutchess, Sullivan, and Greene) followed suit. County executives once again blamed the emergency on failed federal immigration policies and New York City’s mismanagement of the migrant situation. They declared that their smaller counties do not have sufficient empty rooms to suddenly begin housing that many people, nor are there adequate resources to feed them and provide other types of care. In short, New York City declared itself a sanctuary city so this is their problem, not that of the suburbs and rural areas. (Hudson Valley Post)

    A State of Emergency has been declared in a number of more counties in the Hudson Valley…

    On Thursday, Dutchess, Sullivan and Greene counties all declared a State of Emergency as asylum seekers continue to arrive in New York City.

    “We do not have the physical rooms or supporting capacity to house an influx of asylum seekers,” Greene County officials said.

    Greene County officials also equated the transfer of New York City’s responsibilities as a sanctuary city to rural counties to “human trafficking.” That’s technically a very accurate description.

    In addition to not having enough free rooms, county officials pointed out that they don’t have police forces the size of the NYPD. They simply don’t have the sort of law enforcement manpower needed to keep tabs on that many illegal migrants and respond to the increased levels of crime that inevitably follow their arrival.

    But what else is there to be done? The Governor has recently been suggesting that she might start putting up migrants on State University of New York campuses. But how is that supposed to work? The schools use those campuses year-round and they’re packed with students. Are you seriously going to start dumping hundreds of unvetted illegal border crossers in their midst? And who will pay to feed them on campus? Oh, wait. Nevermind. Forget I asked. We already know the answer. It will be the taxpayers.

    Kathy Hochul and Eric Adams keep talking about this situation as if it’s “temporary.” But guess what. These migrants believe it’s permanent, thanks to all of Joe Biden’s policies and proclamations. They don’t have any intention of leaving. So perhaps we can offer an alternative suggestion. These people are in the country illegally because most of them never took the legal steps required to enter. If you’re able to round them up and load them onto buses and planes so easily, how about you start sending all of those buses and planes back to Mexico? When did it become the “new normal” to just stare at hundreds of illegal aliens and look for hotel rooms for them rather than calling ICE?

    Adams and other New York Democrats are creating multiple states of emergency this month, but they’re probably creating something else as well. Fox News has been conducting some very interesting interviews in New York lately with registered Democrats and lefty independents. And a lot of them have long since grown sick of all of this and are talking about voting for Republicans, many for the first time in their lives. Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

    Your editor lives in upstate NY, Onondaga county to be more exact, north of Syracuse. Onondaga county and several others in the area have all declared states-of-emergency over this. The Onondaga county exec banned hotel, motels and other places of temporary accommodation from housing illegals shipped north from NYC. Unfortunately, the issue is not just confined to illegals from the southern border, there are hundreds crossing the NY/Ontario border in northern NY.

Destroying the life of an innocent person, labeling them a racist hatemongering White supremacist is like a Prime Rib dinner with all the fixings, and if you get the person fired it’s time to pop the champagne.

    Such a story broke onto the internet earlier in the week, as a pregnant nurse coming off a 12-hour shift rented a bike and was accosted by 5 large black men who claimed that she was stealing a bike that they had paid for.

    Watching that video were are supposed to assume that this nurse was the aggressor, and that is the take that everybody pushed on the Internet and then in the MSM.

    Somebody filmed the interaction starting halfway through, portraying her defense of herself as a racist attack on these 5 helpless thugs. She was vilified, doxxed, and suspended from her job. For renting a bike. For instance, this “journalist” with 40,000 followers was just one of many going after her like a lynch mob, including advertising the fact that the poor nurse’s home address was online.

    It turns out, though, after the internet and MSM lynch mob came after her and slandered her, scaring this pregnant lady to death, she actually has the proof that they are a bunch of hideous, nasty liars.

    She literally has the receipts.

    The lawyer for a Manhattan hospital worker accused of taking a Citi Bike from a young black man — who claimed that he paid for the two-wheeler — provided receipts that he says show she was the one who purchased the ride at the center of the viral incident.

    The Bellevue Hospital employee — who was branded a “Karen” on social media afterward — rented the bike first, lawyer Justin Marino said in a statement to The Post Wednesday.

    He also provided two Citi Bike receipts from May 12, which were timestamped just minutes apart.

    The first receipt reviewed by The Post shows the bike being taken out before it was re-locked one minute later, which Marino said is the bike seen in the video.

    The second receipt shows another bike being taken out a minute later from the same docking station and was the bike Marino said his client used to get home after being “heckled and pressured to find a new bike” by the group.

    The hospital employee, who Marino says is a six-months-pregnant physician assistant, was placed on leave by NYC Health + Hospitals this week after her heated encounter with the men emerged online Saturday and has been viewed tens of millions of times.

    Now imagine, for a moment, the scene we were supposed to accept. A woman, tiny and six months pregnant, leaves her nursing shift at a hospital and needs a bike. She proceeds to steal a bike from 5 sturdy young men about twice her size, putting her in conflict with about 10x of the muscle power she possesses.

    Yep, that seems plausible. Likely even. Because, after all, she is White. White people are like that, with their privilege and all. Especially White women who weaponize their White tears in their White Supremacist ways.

    It is unheard of for gangs of young black men to terrorize anyone, and certainly, it is inconceivable that their story might be a bit…off. After all, we have it on good authority that not only is Chicago MAGA country, with gangs of roving White Supremacists carrying nooses and bleach, but New York too is a hotbed of such people.

    The media, of course, never for a moment thought about having a bit of skepticism about the story and checking it out. Doing so would be very inconvenient for pushing a narrative in which they are deeply invested.

    And seriously, what matters if the nurse in question loses her livelihood, her friends, her safety, and her reputation?
