Muckraker: Entire Illegal Alien Pipeline Revealed

The Senate immigration bill, aka border security bill, is only designed as the cover for the Senate to send $60 billion more to Ukraine.  The Ukraine money is the priority (corps/lobbyists) the border “security” bill is the technique to create and spend it.

That said, they certainly would not want to let a created and purposeful border crisis go to waste, and they didn’t.  The latest version of the Senate Immigration Reform Bill is now public [SEE HERE].  The proposed Senate border security bill provisions are actually worse than existing non-secure border provisions.

    [LINK TO BILL]

America First Legal did a great job hitting on the top-line issues created by this new bill.  In many ways, multiple ways, this supplemental “border security” bill makes things worse.  The bill codifies into law the loopholes currently being used to increase the number of illegal aliens.  By this design the bill makes things worse.

Opinion: The focus of this thread is the Southern Border. I’ve also been watching CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network); who is providing live coverage of the Trucker Rally. They are maintaining an approximate thirty mile distance from the border crossing at Eagle Pass, yet continue to show support. Also, this most recent report from Streiff with Red State further elaborates on the analysis by America First Legal’s opinion.

    Random News And Notes

SecDef Austin just announced an international maritime coalition task force to help protect shipping in the Red Sea and Bab el Mendeb.

. . . Therefore, today I am announcing the establishment of Operation Prosperity Guardian, an important new multinational security initiative under the umbrella of the Combined Maritime Forces and the leadership of its Task Force 153, which focuses on security in the Red Sea.

Operation Prosperity Guardian is bringing together multiple countries to include the United Kingdom, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles and Spain, to jointly address security challenges in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, with the goal of ensuring freedom of navigation for all countries and bolstering regional security and prosperity.

One thing to note is that several key regional players are not taking part. Egypt, who is a key part of TF 153, can’t be bothered, nor can Saudi Arabia.

Frankly, this smacks of doing something instead of doing the correct thing. And what is the correct thing you may ask. Well that, friends, is simple, degrade the ability of the Houthis to attack shipping in the region. Yah, I know, that’s just not gonna happen with POTATUS at the helm.

While we’re on the subject of the Houthis and Yemen, the inbred goat f*ckers just released a hype video. Set to Highway to the Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins, the video shows a lone F-5 (or is it a MiG 28) and its pilot. The single long-obsolete jet then does some maneuvers before the end card that celebrates the Yemeni ‘revolution”. Watch:

Community note aside, I have some questions. First, how is that crate even still airworthy? Second, does the pilot realize that he and his plane would be dead before he even knew there was a US plane in the area?

The Judge in the Epstein case has ordered the unsealing of 167 John Doe names from the Maxwell civil case.

Before you get too excited, click thru and read Techno fog’s thread. It seems that many of the names do not have any salacious connections. It’s still good news tho. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. . .

Texas governor Greg Abbott just signed legislation that makes illegal entry into Texas a crime. The law allows state judges the option of jailing offenders or deportation of same. I’m not sure where I land on this one. While the situation at the southern border is dire and unsustainable, the simple fact is immigration is a federal issue. Regardless, there will be lawsuits, a lot of them, over this.

A volcano in Iceland is erupting near the town of Grindavik, about 25 miles southwest of the capitol Reykjavik. There had been warning signs for a couple of weeks that it was about to go, and officials had evacuated the town in preparation.

Tony Buzbee, “The Bush Era in Texas Ends Today” – “They Can Go Back to Maine, THIS Is Texas”…

Hallelujah!  Ken Paxton’s defense attorney Tony Buzbee brings the fire today during his closing statement in the insufferable impeachment effort underway in Texas.

Delivering the non-pretending thunder-bombs, Mr. Buzbee laid waste to the manipulative and machiavellian Bush legacy with some resounding truths.  This was awesome.

The full closing remarks are below the fold; but here’s the highlight where Buzbee declares “The Bush era in Texas ends today!”  WATCH:

Comment: Go Texas, from Lil’ Texas !

Paxton was born on Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota, where his father was stationed while in the United States Air Force. His parents and their three children lived in a trailer, often without air conditioning, parked outside wherever his father was temporarily stationed. At various times, they lived in Florida, New YorkNorth Carolina, California, and Oklahoma. A lifelong football fan, Paxton carried a jersey autographed by Bill Bates, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys. Bates later was named Paxton’s campaign treasurer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Paxton

Cpl. Reid Turned 100 Yesterday, Got More Than 4500 Birthday Cards

I wrote about WWII Vet Carl Reid’s request for Birthday cards a couple of weeks ago. I promised I’d follow the story and provide an update.

    Well, here it is.

Carl’s 100th birthday was yesterday,15 June, and so far he’s gotten more than 4500 cards.

In interviews with local media, Carl’s son Phillip mentioned, it’s been a long road, but they made it, “It’s really, really, good. We’ve run through a lot of issues in the last few months, you know, and being able to celebrate with him for 100 years is, he’s been looking forward to it time,” he smiled. “He’s been shooting for 100 years, so we’re happy to see that he’s here and still in good health.”

Carl’s grandson, Carl Reid III said, “We’ve had an amazing response, from around the world I think. Some cards from Italy, Germany, so world-wide. Happy birthday Papa! Congratulations on 100 years, and I hope to see 101!”

“We’re over 4,500… it’s just amazing that people would take that kind of time to acknowledge his accomplishment of getting to 100,” said Donald Reid, another of Carl’s told local media.

As for how Carl felt about how his birthday went? Well… to say he greatly appreciated it is an understatement.

“It’s nice to have all my friends here,” said Carl. “[I was] broken up when I got out there.”

Texas man offers Elon Musk 100 acres of free land to move Twitter’s headquarters

An Austin-area man is offering Elon Musk free land to use for Twitter’s headquarters should the billionaire choose to relocate his newly purchased company from San Francisco to Texas. Twitter accepted Musk’s deal to buy the social media platform for $44 billion on Monday, which prompted Gov. Greg Abbott to invite the richest man in the world to move its headquarters to the Lone Star State and join three of Musk’s other companies.

Now Jim Schwertner, president and CEO of Schwertner Farms, is making his own offer to Musk. “Elon Musk, Move Twitter to Schwertner, TX. 38 Miles North of Austin in Williamson County, and we will give you 100 Acres for FREE,” Schwertner wrote on Twitter Tuesday.

    https://twitter.com/JimSchwertner1/status/1518941839474233344?s=20&t=FHgkg__35CXHJXGeu_HC3g

Schwertner oversees farming and ranching on 20,000 acres of land just north of Georgetown, according to Austonia’s Andrea Guzmán. He said that the move would be a “win-win for everybody,” adding that a business like Twitter would bring a lot of jobs and boost the economy.

“We think it’s a good idea, especially when you’ve got Samsung coming to Taylor,” Schwertner told Austonia. “I mean, this area is exploding and we want to be part of this explosive growth.”

Other social media giants with headquarters in Central Texas include Meta and TikTok. Musk’s companies Tesla, SpaceX and the Boring Company are also headquartered in the Lone Star State.

“I just think with all the stuff he’s done, he evidently likes Texas, right or he wouldn’t have moved from California,” Schwertner said about Musk. “And I want to be part of his plan if he’ll come visit with us.”

Schwertner reiterated his offer on Twitter Wednesday in an effort to gain Musk’s attention. He told Austonia his offer is a “serious gesture to help the citizens around Williamson County.”

Musk has yet to respond to or publicly acknowledge Schwertner’s offers, only posting on Twitter Wednesday about free speech on the platform and SpaceX activities.

  • First of Many Texas Buses Filled With Migrants Arrives in DC…

First of Many Texas Buses Filled With Migrants Arrives in DC…

First of Many Texas Buses Filled With Migrants Arrives in DC – Let’s Take It Further

Fed up with the border issue being a Texas problem, Texas Governor Greg Abbott decided that maybe the politicians in D.C. didn’t quite understand how serious the issue is because they’re so far removed from the said border. In order to cure that problem, Abbott figured that he’d bring the border to them, and so he loaded up a lot of the illegal migrants onto a bus and shipped them to Washington D.C.

According to Fox News, the first of these buses has just arrived:

The bus pulled up at approximately 8 a.m. local time, blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building. Fox News has learned that they came from the Del Rio sector in Texas, after coming to the U.S. from Colombia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

Upon the bus’s arrival in Washington, D.C., individuals disembarked one by one except for family units who exited together. They checked in with officials and had wristbands they were wearing cut off before being told they could go.

The tactic seems to already have an effect:

According to TDEM, Abbott’s plan is already working. The agency told Fox News on Monday that many of the communities that originally reached out for support – from the Rio Grande Valley to Terrell County – say the federal government stopped dropping immigrants in their towns since Abbott’s announcement on April 6.

But I’m not entirely sure the lesson is going to sink in if they’re just being dropped off at our nation’s capitol. In my opinion, if you really want the issue to hit home, these migrants should start appearing in the towns of the rich white left who pat themselves on the back for supporting unsustainable policies that they don’t have to deal with.

Abbott should begin sending these migrants into other locations such as Vermont, Delaware, Massachusetts, and more. There’s no reason why blue states in the north shouldn’t take part in the issues they’re helping create while they label everyone who is trying to fix the issues as racists.

It seems like a backward way of doing things, but sometimes the fastest way to fix a problem is for the person with the problem to admit they have one. In this case, the person is an entire country and there’s quite a bit of it in denial. The only way they’ll learn is to shove the problem directly into their face and make them wake up to the fact that real issues come as a result of illegal immigration.

This move might seem like a bit of a troll, and it may take a little bit of time to play out, but once the issues that plague border states begin to plague our northern brothers, then perhaps they’ll finally get it.

Comment/Opinion: Nothing, like having others walk a mile in your shoes. DC has chosen to be oblivious to the economic and social problems they created for the border states.

BREAKING: Hostage Situation at a Texas Synagogue

There is breaking news out of Texas. A man has taken 4 people hostage at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas.

It is believed that there are four hostages inside the synagogue, including the rabbi and three others. The suspect is believed to be armed. He also claims to have bombs cached in unknown locations.

The suspect’s sister, a known terrorist, Aafia Siddiqui, was convicted in New York of trying to kill US military personnel. She is incarcerated at Carswell Air Force Base near Fort Worth, and he reportedly is demanding that she be freed.

Texas Annexes Oklahoma, Turns Entire State Into One Giant Buc-ee’s

OKLAHOMA—Texas has announced the unilateral annexation of Oklahoma. The entire state will be leveled and turned into one giant Buc-ee’s convenience store, according to sources within the Texas state government.

The move was made as part of an attempt to find a use for the state to the north of Texas, as it seemed to just be acres and acres of nothing worthwhile.

“There, that’s a far better use of these 7,000 useless square miles,” said Texas Governor Greg Abbott as bulldozers began demolishing the trailer parks, exotic cat zoos, and lame gas stations with fewer than 48 pumps that made up the state of Oklahoma. “Finally — weary travelers just passing through Oklahoma can experience fine refreshments, plenty of gas pumps, and extremely tasty snacks.”

Abbott then bit into a glazed pistachio. “Oh, man. This is to die for.”

The governor then cut a ribbon with a bayonet attached to an AR-15, officially opening the massive Buc-ee’s. The new fueling station has 800,000,000 pumps, 50,000 barbecue pits, hundreds of square miles of delicious flavored nuts, and over 10,000,000 of the cleanest bathrooms you’ll ever use.

  • Big Doings in The Texas Courts

Big Doings in The Texas Courts

    Texas Supreme Court Building

There were a couple of big decisions out of the Texas Supreme court the past couple of days.

First up is a case involving Facebook and sex trafficking. The Court ruled that section 320 of the communications decency act did not provide Facebook immunity from being sued by victims of sex trafficking when the abusers use that site.

The majority wrote, “We do not understand Section 230 to ‘create a lawless no-man’s-land on the Internet’ in which states are powerless to impose liability on websites that knowingly or intentionally participate in the evil of online human trafficking. . . Holding internet platforms accountable for the words or actions of their users is one thing, and the federal precedent uniformly dictates that Section 230 does not allow it,” the opinion said. “Holding internet platforms accountable for their own misdeeds is quite another thing. This is particularly the case for human trafficking.”

This ruling allows several civil suits from victims to go forward. Annie McAdams, one of the attorneys for the plaintiffs, said it was a groundbreaking decision. This is the first case to beat Facebook on its argument that it had immunity under Section 230, she said. “While we have a long road ahead, we are grateful that the Texas Supreme Court will allow these courageous trafficking survivors to have their day in court against Facebook,” McAdams said. She said with the help of an anti-trafficking provision under the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code called Chapter 98, “We believe trafficking survivors in Texas can expose and hold accountable businesses such as Facebook that benefit from these crimes of exploitation.”

The other big case out of Texas is in regards to firearms retailers responsibility in selling firearms that are later used in crimes. The case in question involved Academy Sports and the families of those killed in the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs shooting. The families sued believing the retailer was responsible for the gunman aquiring the weapon used in the shooting. Despite getting a bad conduct discharge from the USAF for spousal abuse, the shooter passed a federally mandated and administered background check.

“Although federal law disqualified Kelley from purchasing a firearm at the time of the sale — based in part on his conviction in a 2012 court-martial for assaulting his wife and stepson and his dishonorable discharge from the United States Air Force — that disqualifying information was not in the system, which authorized Academy to ‘Proceed’ with the sale,” the court found.

This one hits close to home for this editor, as he works in the firearms industry. While we can refuse a sale for any reason, and this Editor has on several occasions, most gun salespeople rely on the results of the NICS background check. In the case out of Texas, the Air Force, who is being sued for it, failed to forward the information that would have disqualified the shooter. Had he presented normally, and not set off any alarm bells, this editor would have allowed the sale to proceed as normal, and barring a delay or deny from NICS, sold the firearm.
