Hurricane Isaias is bearing down on the Florida coast. The storm is expected to make landfall in southern Florida some time Saturday and turn northeast along the coast. Isaias is the 8th named storm so far this season.
A Hurricane Watch has been issued for portions of the Florida east coast from north of Deerfield Beach northward to the Volusia-Brevard County Line. A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for portions of the Florida east coast from north of Ocean Reef northward to Sebastian Inlet and for Lake Okeechobee.
