Missouri Governor, Mike Parson has said he will pardon the McCloskeys if district attorney Kimberley Gardner indicts them. The McCloskeys are the couple that defended their home in St. Louis from a mob of rioters.

The couple has already had their guns confiscated in a somewhat murky, legally speaking, way.

Bevelyn Beatty, a black pro-life woman from At The Well Ministries, defaced a BLM mural on a street in front of Trump tower in NYC Saturday.

“Y’all don’t care about black lives. Get the paint. Y’all don’t care about black lives. Refund the police!” she screamed, walking up and down the mural,” Beatty said.

Yeah, what she said. . . .

There’s a petition circulating, wanting Trader Joe’s to change it’s racist names for food. We demand that Trader Joe’s remove racist branding and packaging from its stores. The grocery chain labels some of its ethnic foods with modifications of “Joe” that belies a narrative of exoticism that perpetuates harmful stereotypes. Reads the petition on change.org.

It goes on: For example, “Trader Ming’s” is used to brand the chain’s Chinese food, “Arabian Joe” brands Middle Eastern foods, “Trader José” brands Mexican foods, “Trader Giotto’s” is for Italian food, and “Trader Joe San” brands their Japanese cuisine.

Cuz we got nothing else to worry about than how an upscale grocery chain labels it’s products with commonly used names etc. Full disclosure, this editor has never been inside a Trader Joe’s, but writing this piece makes me want to go. I could really go for some Trader José tacos or something.

I saw a story over at RedState from Sarah Lee that really struck a chord with me. In it she details and encounter with a real life troll. No, not the kind you usually find under a bridge, but the kind that’s normally found on the various social media platforms. I encourage you to go take a look. You can find it here.

In some sad news, Taco Bell announced they were removing several items from their menu. Among the items they’re saying adios to,  the Grilled Steak Soft Taco, the 7-Layer Burrito, Nachos Supreme, Beefy Fritos Burrito, Spicy Tostada, Triple Layer Nachos, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, Loaded Grillers, Chips and Dips and lastly, the Mini Skillet Bowl from the breakfast menu.

Honestly, the only things I’m going to miss, besides the sore, well you know, are the steak soft taco and the nachos supreme. ¡Viva la tacos!
