The Fond du Lac, Franklin and West Allis police departments have all pulled out of a group of police agencies that were to police the DNC in Milwaukee next month. The agencies declined to participate because of an order by the Milwaukee Police and Fire commission. They banned the use of chemical irritants and other crowd control methods.
The Ecuadorian Navy is on alert as a 260 vessel strong Chinese fleet approaches the Galapagos Islands. The Chinese fleet has been near the island chain in the past, and have been caught with protected marine life in their holds. Seems the Chinese have fished out their home waters and are looking for more fertile fishing grounds.
There are tropical storm warnings up for Puerto Rico and the leeward islands. Tropical Storm Isaias is the 9th named storm this season.
Yeah, not real smart. You just gave away the ending there sport. That account belongs to Ronald Bernard Hickey, 44, a Canadian National. Mr Hickey is currently in federal custody for “harassing and stalking federal employees assigned to assist the Federal Protective Service with ongoing civil unrest in Portland.” Hickey “used his Twitter account, @TawasiSoce, to knowingly release personal information of these employees in an attempt to threaten, intimidate, or incite violence against them.”
He apparently doxxed himself after showing his own license plate in one of the videos he posted on Twitter. Dumbass.
The mayor of Portland seems to think he’s far more important than he really is. Ted Wheeler is now demanding a meeting with acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf. This after weeks of not wanting anything to do with him.
He’s talking some guff about a cease-fire. Unless he’s actually in control of the rioters, and its pretty clear he isn’t, they booed and heckled him just a few days ago, what can he actually do?
