LeGend Taliferro
Operation Legend, for those who don’t know, is the name of a Federal law enforcement push initiated in the wake of the killing of four year old LeGend Taliferro in Kansas City in June.
The operation kicked off on 8 July in Kansas City, and expanded to Chicago and Albuquerque on July 22, 2020, to Cleveland, Detroit, and Milwaukee on July 29, 2020, to St. Louis and Memphis on August 6, 2020, and to Indianapolis on August 14, 2020. Through August 31 more than 2000 arrests have been made, 147 for homicide, more than 544 firearms have been seized; and more than seven kilos of fentanyl, 14 kilos of heroin, 12 kilos of cocaine, and 50 kilos of methamphetamine have been seized.

While I think this is fantastic, and all those involved deserve recognition for their work, I have to wonder why this was necessary in the first place. Had the authorities in these cities done their jobs, the criminals would have already been arrested and be in jail awaiting trial and further confinement.
I feel compelled to point out this little fact, all the cities targeted by Operation Legend are run by Democrats. It should be clear by now, their policies lead to the violence in their cities.
