A custody deputy in Michigan has died after he was attacked by an inmate. Corporal Bryant Searcy of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was attacked by an unidentified 28-year-old inmate at the Wayne County Jail in Downtown Detroit Wednesday night, and later died while being treated at the hospital. Searcy was 50 years old and served as a member of the Sheriff’s Office since 2002.

President Trump signed a memorandum today that takes aim at implementing accountability measures for local politicians in cities facing violent unrest.
From the memorandum:
The Federal Government provides States and localities with hundreds of billions of dollars every year, which fund a wide array of programs, such as housing, public transportation, job training, and social services. These funds have been collected from American taxpayers who entrusted their money to the Federal Government to serve our communities and our citizens.
My Administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones. To ensure that Federal funds are neither unduly wasted nor spent in a manner that directly violates our Government’s promise to protect life, liberty, and property, it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America’s cities. It is also critical to ensure that Federal grants are used effectively, to safeguard taxpayer dollars entrusted to the Federal Government for the benefit of the American people.
Wanna-be mob tough guy Andy Cuomo (Unlike his dad, Mario, who was mobbed up) took aim at President Trump today.
“He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York, New Yorkers don’t want to have anything to do with him.” Cuomo said in a press briefing on Wednesday night “He can’t have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City, people don’t want to have anything to do with him,” And of course, Trump fired back:

Multiple sports books are giving odds on who’s going to win this November. As of today, the bookies have the race tied or Trump with a lead. Bovada has the two candidates tied at -110; BetOnline with Trump at-120 and Biden at +100; and My Bookie with Trump at -140 and Biden at +110.
I don’t know how many of you are sports bettors, so perhaps a little explainer is in order for this item. For prop bets like these, the positive number indicates the underdog, the negative the favorite. It also indicates how much you win, in the case of the under dog, when you bet $100. For the favorite, it will cost you that number to win $100.
