Another day, another attempt by the left to smear President Trump. This time it’s Bob Woodward. He interviewed the President earlier this year and is just now making the content of those interviews public. Among the claims Woodward is making it that Trump wanted to downplay the Chinese coronavirus threat and that he disclosed the existence of a “secret nuclear weapon”.

Of course he wanted to downplay the Chinese lung AIDS threat, he didn’t want to cause mass panic. Any responsible leader would have done the same. And as far as the “secret nuclear weapon” goes, well here’s what Trump is alleged to have said:

“I have built a nuclear – a weapons system that nobody’s ever had in this country before. We have stuff that you haven’t even seen or heard about,” Trump told Woodward. “We have stuff that Putin and Xi have never heard about before. There’s nobody – what we have is incredible.”

Ohh. So he teased something that may or may not exist. Most of you know I follow defense related issues pretty closely, and all I can find about any “new” nukes is the program the Navy announced in February, a couple of weeks after the interview. That program centered on the W76-2, a reduced yield sub launched missile.

Well, this is a bit of a surprise. The Chicago chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police have formally endorsed Donald Trump for President. John Catanzara, the Chicago chapter’s president, reportedly said that the endorsement largely reflects the views of its membership before adding there will be some who disagree.”There’s definitely people who are not going to be happy about it,” Catanzara said. “There are more Democrats, locally speaking, but there’s even some Democrats who would agree that the current president has been very good for employment and law enforcement these days.”

A staffer for Oregon’s House Speaker, Tina Kopek, was arrested during one of Portland’s nightly riots. Kristina Narayan was arrested Saturday night/Sunday morning and charged with interference of a peace officer. She’s not the first Dem staffer to be arrested recently, Clara Kraebber was arrested in NYC last week. Kraebber is a Beto staffer.

Have you heard anything, anything at all, from the Dems that employ them? Crickets. . . .

Mike McCormick, who worked as a White House stenographer for 15 years and with Biden from 2011 to 2017, has something to say about Basement Joe. “He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago. . . He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking,” McCormick said. “He’s a different guy.” …

No kidding. . . .

Acting DHS Chief, Chad Wolf took aim at Portland’s public officials and “so-called experts” for their disastrous handling of the riots that have been occurring for over 100 days. Speaking at the annual State of the Homeland address, Wolf criticized how Portland politicians decided to score political points instead of trying to work with the federal agency to protect the Hatfield United States Courthouse from rioters. Watch:

The outrage mob has claimed another scalp. Dallas police chief Renee Hall tendered her letter of resignation Tuesday. Chief Hall, age 49, was the city’s first black female Chief, and has held her position for three years. Originally slated to leave on 10 November, she has agreed to stay through the end of the year, after the city manager, T.C. Broadnax asked her to stay.
