Gov. Ron DeSantis takes a strong and decisive position to stop the theft of intellectual property by various foreign nations; specifically China, Iran, Cuba, Syria, Russia, North Korea and Venezuela. The State of Florida is in the process of introducing multiple Bills to stop the espionage and exploitation and the theft of American ingenuity; be that at universities, local governments, research institutions or companies. They gave notice to all that the State of Florida will no longer allow foreign entities, business or governments to intimidate, influence or steal their way to a strategic advantage. There were two sides to their position and those businesses, corporations and individuals who call Florida home, must also do their part to insure accountability and safeguard the American innovations.
Comment: Various States appear to be taking a much stronger ownership and control position of their own state; without the undue influence from Washington, DC. This new Biden Administration seems to have spurn more individualism, rather than collectivism. The unity mantra has been punctuated with titles like Neanderthal when States have failed to follow the Covid dictate from DC. As we have also recently seen in State of California, as well, with the recent date with destiny of the upcoming Recall of Gavin Newsom.
