Caitlyn Jenner Weighing Run for California Governor amid Newsom Recall

Jenner, a Republican, would run against incumbent governor Gavin Newsom.
Jenner was born as William Bruce Jenner and rose to fame after winning the Olympic decathalon in 1976. He married Kris Kardashian and became a regular on the TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. From 2015 through 2017, Jenner transitioned to a woman and took the name Caitlyn.
Jenner has been consulting with Caroline Wren, who is a GOP fundraiser.
Other candidates running in the recall election are the former Mayor of San Diego, Kevin Faulconer and the former US Representative, Doug Ose.
This could be very very interesting. Think of all the chances a Republican candidate will have to accuse the DemonRats of being transphobic. Any attack against Jenner could bring forth such accusations. It may well be worth Jenner running just to watch for the comedy effect.
