FAFO: Aiding Illegals Edition
A couple of state judges are currently in the find out part of the FAFO equation.
We’ll start in New Mexico where former Doña Ana County Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife just got arrested by ICE officers. Why was the good judge arrested you ask? Welp, Cano was harboring an illegal. But not just any illegal, Cristhian Ortega Lopez was also a Tren de Aragua member.
Lopez was arrested at Cano’s residence back in February. It seems he was living in a Casita on Cano’s property. After Lopez’s arrest, Cano resigned his position as magistrate judge and shortly after the NM supreme court ruled Cano ineligible to be a judge there ever again.
Moving to Wisconsin, the FBI arrested sitting Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan. She allegedly harbored an illegal alien in a courthouse.
This case involves the judge hiding an illegal who was appearing in her courtroom from ICE as they attempted to arrest the illegal. It seems the judge was informed ICE was present and had an active and valid federal detainer order.
It is alleged that she hid the individual in the jury room.
It’s about time that those actively attempting to thwart the federal government get their just desserts. Nobody is above the law and that includes judges.
