FAFO: Yemen Edition
Recently, the Houthi rebels in Yemen decided it would be a good idea to fire some ballistic missiles at David Ben Gurion international airport in Israel. For the first time, some of those missiles actually hit the airport.
Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu declared the attack would not go unpunished. Well, that punishment started today.
Israeli jets hit several targets in Houthi controlled Yemen including Sana’a international airport.
The airport, located just outside of the city of Sana’a, was used by the Houthi rebels as a base. The terminal building was hit as were the maintenance buildings and fuelling facilities. It appears that the terminal building was almost completely destroyed. The airport status on Google reviews has been changed to permanently closed.

Other targets included a pair of Houthi controlled power generation stations and a concrete plant. As of this writing, it is being reported that both power plants have been badly damaged and the concrete facility destroyed. The concrete made at the plant was used to build bunkers and tunnels.
A senior Houthi official, quoted by Al-Arabiya, warns Israel: “Israel just crossed a red line and must await our response.”
I mean, it isn’t like they haven’t been trying to kill as many Israelis as possible already. What else are they going to do?
