Another Federal court you’ve never heard of just enjoined the President from setting tariffs. The US Court of International Trade ruled that Trump does not have the authority to levy tariffs. The ruling gave CBP 10 days to stop collecting tariff payments. I am not a trade law expert, so I looked for someone who is and who could break down the ruling:

Click thru and read the whole thread. The poster breaks it down quite well. The TL;DR is this, this court got it wrong on both the law and the merits. Trump has the legal authority to impose tariffs and adjust the rates of the tariffs. Needless to say the admin has appealed.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one. Was the pardon justified? In hindsight, maybe. Were the charges and conviction justified? Probably. LT Bashaw refused to follow a couple of simple orders: work remotely because he didn’t get vaxxed and wear a mask if he went into the office.

I don’t care where you come down on the covid regs in the military, this guy intentionally and with malice aforethought disobeyed direct, lawful orders. The fact is they were the lawful rules and regulations at that time and he deliberately and knowingly violated them.

That kind of thing gets you shot during wartime, incarcerated at Ft Leavenworth making little rocks out of big ones during peace time, not a pardon. . .

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced his agency is reviewing – and potentially revoking – student visas for Chinese students connected to the CCP.

This announcement comes on the heels of another visa related announcement. That one targets the visas of foreign officials engaged in censorship of US citizens.

Voldemort wannabe Alexandre de Moraes of Brazil and UK Met Police Chief Sir Mark Rowley hardest hit. . .

Elon Musk has announced his time at DOGE is ending. As a Special Government Employee, Elon Musk led the Department of Government Efficiency. DOGE realized $160 billion in savings by terminating wasteful contracts, like $255 million from 269 contracts, and modernizing IT systems, such as digitizing the OPM retirement process. DOGE also cleaned Social Security records and supported voter integrity measures.

I had higher hopes for Musk and DOGE. $160 billion isn’t chump change, but it isn’t enoughof a difference to make a difference. It’s time for Congress to do its job and effectuate more cuts in spending and reduce the size of the federal government.

So, I, generally speaking, am quite tolerant of the follies and foibles of young children. HOWEVER, I would mercilessly mock and demean this child just to make her idiot mother feel like shit.

Seriously, wtf is that mother thinking? I do not want to hear your child sing – BADLY – over the intercom while sitting in an uncomfortable seat and trapped in an aluminum tube. Sit down and shut up. I know dogs that can sing better. Hell, I know donkeys that can sing better.
