Random News and Notes 21 June
Some new details about the Minnesota shooters motivations have come to light. He allegedly wrote a letter to the FBI stating that he was trained by the military and hired by Tampon Timmy to take out sitting US senator Amy Klobuchar so Walz could take the seat.
Yikes. Double yikes. Dude was clearly mentally ill. It’s clear now why this story – which should still be a major thing – has all but disappeared from the MSM. Yet I wonder if some of those rantings could be. . . And that is not a good commentary on the state of play here in 2025.
There was more political violence recently. Not on the scale of events in Minnesota, but violence none the less. Max Miller a Jewish US Rep from Ohio (which doesn’t exist according to my zoomer nephews) was run off the road and accosted by a pro-hams cockbag. According to the criminal complaint, Feras S. Hamdan of Westlake, Ohio, called Miller a “dirty Jew”, made threats against Miller’s life and his family members lives, and shouted random pro hams slogans.
Oh yeah, he’s a doctor. Anyway, the judge in the case, Rocky River Municipal Court Judge Joseph Burk, was less than cordial to Hamdan at his arraignment. He issued very strict pre-trial conditions including an ankle monitor and a $500,000 bond. Hamdan was held over for trial on charges of aggravated menacing charge, as well as an ethnic intimidation charge.
This goes out to everyone in the community, but especially to our Jewish friends; Get a gun, get training on how to use it, get good with using it and carry that MFer everywhere you can. Kristallnacht did not happen out of the blue, and what we’re starting to see has parallels to that time. Remember, history doesn’t repeat itself, but it quite often rhymes.
As an aside, I am always available to chat about firearms, training and usage. Hit me up if you have any questions, or go back and check out some of my previous articles about guns, shooting and training.
VP Vance took a shot at grandstanding Senator Alex Padilla while in California yesterday. The shot landed. Hard based on all the reactions.
Governor Hair Gel called JD ‘racist’. Karen Bass, the ineffectual Los Angeles mayor, had a public meltdown.
She is a Karen after all. I’m a bit surprised she didn’t demand to speak to JD’s manager.
A Vance spokesperson suggested JD had mixed up the Senator with with Al-Qaeda operative Jose Padilla. Easy mistake to make I guess. . .
I do not have any more details about this next one, but Jesu Christos.
I really should start looking for more outdoors related news items. Like this one out of Minnesota.
An 8 year old girl won a walleye tournament on the connecting waters of Bemidji Lake and Lake Irving – located in north-central Minnesota at the headwaters of the Mississippi River. Well, her and her father. Kennedy Klein and her dad Ryan placed first in the $15,000 Bimidji Knights of Columbus Walleye Classic.

The tournament ended that day at 3:30 p.m. Awards and prize money were given at 6 p.m. Kennedy received a check for $15,000 for the win she and Ryan earned. When asked what she was going to do with her winnings, like buy a new bike or something else special she said, “Nope, I’m putting all that money in my savings account.”
Smart girl and a good fisherwoman.
