Random News and Notes 19 July

The Wall Street Journal published a story the other day claiming Donald Trump sent Jeffrey Epstein a birthday note back in 2003. The typewritten note included a drawing of a naked woman or so the story says. Trump denies sending this note and has filed suit for defamation.

. . . action is being brought against the so-called authors of this defamation, the now fully disgraced WSJ, as well as its corporate owners and affiliates, with Rupert Murdoch and Robert Thomson (whatever his role is!) at the top of the list. We have proudly held to account ABC and George Slopadopoulos, CBS and 60 Minutes, The Fake Pulitzer Prizes, and many others who deal in, and push, disgusting LIES, and even FRAUD, to the American People. This lawsuit is filed not only on behalf of your favorite President, ME, but also in order to continue standing up for ALL Americans who will no longer tolerate the abusive wrongdoings of the Fake News Media. I hope Rupert and his “friends” are looking forward to the many hours of depositions and testimonies they will have to provide in this case. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Keep in mind, even if this note is authentic – and I have my doubts – it was sent in 2003, long before Epstein was banned from Mar a Lago and before he was in trouble for sex trafficking. The entire purpose of the article was to smear Trump.

10 US citizens who had been detained in Venezuela have been returned to the US. The releases were part of a prisoner swap involving 245 TdA members being held in the CECOT prison in El Salvador.

This may sound harsh, but any US citizen who willingly travels to one of our geopolitical foes deserves everything they get. We know those countries take hostages. If they violate local laws, they should rot there. I’m looking at you Brittany Griner.

Updating a story I brought you yesterday, the deputies who were killed in an explosion at an LAPD facility have been identified. Detectives Joshua Kelley-Eklund, Victor Lemus, and William Osborn were killed in the blast. The story so far indicates the three were working on some explosive devices recovered from a storage unit. They appear to have been grenade fuses and grenades of some sort.

I am seeing some reports that search warrants have been executed in Santa Monica related to the explosion.
