BREAKING: Ryan Routh Guilty

Would be Trump assassin Ryan Routh has been found guilty on all charges.

He had been charged with Attempted Assassination of a Major Presidential Candidate, Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Crime of Violence, Assaulting a Federal Officer, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition and Possession of a Firearm With an Obliterated Serial Number.

Attempted Assassination of a Major Presidential Candidate, the most serious of the charges, is punishable by life in prison.

Routh acted as his own attorney during the trial. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon repeatedly chastised Routh for his behavior during the trial.

There are reports that Routh attempted to stab himself in the neck with a pen as he was led out of the courtroom.

A sentencing date has not been confirmed as of this writing.
