Captain SCUMBAG! Front & Center

Sipping my coffee… seems like it’s been a long time since we smiled, whether you are laughing with me or at me, makes little difference to me, you were laughing, I am in no laughing mood

It’s Sunday, so I’ll Sunday kind of words

Mark14:17-21

a Traitor in the mist

Captain Jacoby Williamson, who has worked in multiple positions with the Marines since 2013, sent out an Instagram snap showing an interview segment Kirk was doing called ‘DEI in the cockpit.’

‘Another racist man popped,’ Williamson captioned the post, adding the emoji of someone raising two beers for a toast.

Update: The Marine Corps has formally relieved him of his duties. His career within the Corps has ended, and he now faces the very real possibility of unemployment and potential prosecution in the near future. Captain Jacoby Williamson does not deserve the honor of wearing the Marine Corps uniform. When he publicly wrote “Another Racist Popped” followed by a beer-cheers emoji in response to Charlie Kirk’s murder, he crossed a line that no Marine, especially a commissioned officer, should ever cross. As an officer, he swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, which includes the right to free speech. Regardless of anyone’s personal views on Charlie Kirk, Kirk’s only “weapon” was a microphone. He used words, not violence.

For a Marine officer to celebrate his killing is a betrayal of the oath he took and the values he is entrusted to uphold. The Marine Corps is built on honor, courage, and commitment. Praising the violent silencing of an American citizen violates all three. It dishonors the uniform, it emboldens division and hatred, and it demonstrates cowardice rather than courage. Marines are called to lead by example, to protect liberty even when they disagree with the speech being exercised. Captain Williamson has shown the opposite: he cheered on a murderer who stripped away those rights.

That is sickening. It is disqualifying. And it is proof enough that he is unfit to wear the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. This is an offense according to the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and this man needs to be held accountable (lawfully) for his actions. If given a chance, he will take the knowledge gained in the Marine Corps and share it with the Haters of America.
