For today’s musical selection we go back to 1980 and the first single from Peter Gabriel’s 3rd studio album. The title for Games Without Frontiers came from a show on European TV called Jeux San Frontiéres. That show pitted teams from various Euro countries against each other on sporting-type events. The song itself is a biting commentary on the geopolitics of the period. It is just as applicable today.
