Random News and Notes 24 September
We kick off today’s report with a breaking story out of Dallas. Someone there shot up the ICE facility in Northwest Dallas. The attack happened at around 6:40 a.m. local time.
At this point it looks like one detainee killed and several more wounded, some critical, but that number is likely to change. There are no reports of any injuries to any ICE agents. The shooter is reportedly dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
DHS Secretary Noem issued a statement this morning.
. . . ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop.
Please pray for the victims and their families.
This is the second attack on an ICE facility in the DFW metroplex. Back in July, a group of Antifa related attackers shot a local cop and laid siege to the Alvarado facility for several hours.

About a month ago, federal agents raided the home and offices of former Trump NSA John Bolton. It was in connection to a criminal investigation that started in 2020 following the publication of his book. They were looking for classified documents. And now, according to Politico, it seems they found some.
It looks like the most damning of the docs has to do with WMDs.
There is also evidence he used insecure systems to transmit the docs to people outside of the US who did not have the proper clearances to receive them.

It is that time again. The bears at the Brooks River falls in Katmai national park are competing to see who is the fattest bear.
Hopefully there will not be the controversy that there was last year. Bear 469, killed an older female bear, Bear 402 in a fight and partially ate her remains. The attack happened on Monday, October 1, 2024, the same day the Fat Bear Week bracket was supposed to be revealed.

I debated about including this next piece. Jimmy Kimmel returned to his show last night. The (non)apology was about what I expected. He got verklempt, whined about being put on the shelf and did everything but apologize for being a tool bag.
Fuck Jimmy Kimmel. Fuck ABC for putting him back on the air. Fuck Disney for, well that would be a loooong list, so just fuck the Mouse.
Also, I have some questions. The show only aired to somewhere around 60% of the normal markets. Nexstar and Sinclair did not carry the program and as of right now, they have no plans to do so going forward. That has to pinch the ABC wallet some. How do they continue producing the show when it was already losing money hand over fist.
NBC news accused ICE of using a 5 year autistic old girl as ‘bait’ to catch an illegal. Cool story, but it wasn’t even close to being true.
. . . Edwards Hip Mejia, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, ignored law enforcement emergency lights and darted inside his house, abandoning his 5-year-old daughter in the car.
Officers helped rescue the child and called local police to report the abandonment.
Stop the smears. Stop the lies.
Yeah, the scumbag, who has convictions for domestic violence, left his autistic daughter in the car and ran his cowardly ass inside and hid.
How Matt Lavietes, the author of this particular smear-job, came up with that nonsense I’ll never know. Worse, I do not know how he is still employed at this point. You know what? Fuck NBC too . . .
