A few days ago I told you that the President was designating AntiFa as a domestic terror organization. Well, that designation is starting to take effect. Yesterday, federal law enforcement moved into Portland to quell the near-nightly AntiFa attacks on the federal building and other ICE/DHS facilities. It seems they rolled in hard. There were Blackhawks and drones flying above as the agents moved in to do battle with the AntiFa terrorists.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that unlike the previous times, anyone arrested will be fully prosecuted.
Today is the last day of the MLB regular season. Every team is playing and some have playoff hopes on the line. First pitch for all of todays games is set for 1505 eastern.
In the AL, only the Seattle Mariners in the AL West have clinched their division. In the AL East, Toronto and the Yankees are deadlocked going into todays games. Toronto won the season series, so unless they lose and the Yanks win today, they will clinch the division. In the Central, The Indians err Guardians can clinch with a win today. The Tigers – who blew a 15 game July lead – need a Cleveland loss and a Boston loss to lock up the division crown.
The NL is a bit clearer. Going into game 162, the division champs are all locked in. Philadelphia in the East, Milwaukee in the Central and the Dodgers out West have all won their divisions. The race for the final wildcard spot is where the NL action is today. That race came down to the Reds and the Mets.
Reds clinch if …
- Reds win at Brewers (regardless of what Mets do)
- Reds lose at Brewers AND Mets lose at Marlins
Mets clinch if …
Reds lose at Brewers AND Mets win at Marlins
The four wildcard series start Tuesday.
