Random News and Notes 11th October
A producer for the Chicago based TV station WGN decided she wanted to find out. Debbie Brockman, who is a video editor and producer for the creative services department of WGN, threw something at an ICE vehicle. It did not work out how she planned.
ICE was in the Lincoln Square neighborhood as part of an enforcement action. It gets worse – or better depending on your perspective. Someone tried to block ICE in with their vehicle. That didn’t work out all that well either.
“Are you serious? Are you serious right now?”

It’s day 11 of the Schumer Shutdown. Yesterday, OMB director Russ Vought started the bloodletting. Notices of reductions in force went out to several federal agencies. These are not layoffs or furloughs, but firings. It looks like thousands are affected in this round.
One agency, the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, was gutted completely. The entire staff of 100 was RIF’ed. If you are like me and wondered what the F this agency did, this is what the agency website says.
The CDFI plays an important role in generating economic growth and opportunity in some of our nation’s most distressed communities. . . take a market-based approach to supporting economically disadvantaged communities.
In other words, they launder our money to DEI causes. Glad they’re gone. Hopefully, these aren’t the only ones.
Unless it’s big/breaking news, I try not to include more than one item per topic here, and let you guys comment about it below, but this one was too good to pass on. Temu Obama had a meltdown when he was asked about the Schumer shutdown. Watch:

The fact is, the Dems own this shutdown and the American public knows it. Hell, Temu Obama knows it. That is why he gets so upset when he is pushed on it.
President Trump had his annual physical at Walter Reed yesterday. According to the report Trump is in excellent health, with his heart actually that of someone 14 years younger. His pulmonary and neurological health are also exceptional.
I’m not entirely sure I believe the report. He is 79 years old. Crap starts going pear shaped when you get to be that old. All that aside, he is better than the AutoPen at least. . .
It looks like John Bolton is going to be charged or indicted in his own classified documents case next week.
The former Trump NSA is accused of keeping classified documents at his home and office.
