Random News and Notes 14 October
Sometimes I see something on the internet and wonder. About where this country is going. About where we went wrong. About what it is going to take to fix it. Hell, I wonder about what it will take just to get back to where we were before the Kenyan was in office, nevermind what it was when America was at its best. This is one of those things. Watch:
Where the F do I start? I mean, I haven’t seen video or images – or even heard of some liar squealing about it on the internet – of ICE agents shooting at anyone, so. . . Who or why are we supposed to be shooting back at? Also, she made a direct and specific threat of violence against a federal agent. Then there is the fact that few people who think like her own firearms. (Thank Fucking God she doesn’t). This chick needs find out.
At least she doesn’t have the typical septum piercing or aposematic hair coloring. . .
The AG of my home state, Leticia James, is – well, I don’t care to use the word that comes to mind. Anyway, her mortgage fraud scandal just got worse if that is possible. It seems that she rents one of the houses in question to a family member. A family member who is currently wanted by the state of North Carolina.
Nakia Thompson, the grandniece, has a looong rap sheet. She is currently wanted for absconding from probation in North Carolina. There is absolutely no way that James did not/does not know that her grandniece has active warrants from North Carolina.
I told you yesterday that Trump was in the Middle East for the Israel-Hamas peace deal. While there, He and many other world leaders got together in Egypt to discuss the plan. In yesterday’s comment section, a video of Trump manhandling little Emmanuel Macron while ostensibly shaking his hand was shared. Macron was not the only Euro-weenie to be embarrassed. At a presser in Cairo Trump put Brit PM Keir Starmer in his place quite firmly. Watch:
Called him up like a schoolboy and then just turned his back on him as a dismissal. Take a look at Giorgia Meloni, she’s being her lip to keep from laughing at the whole thing.

Any international event where she is present is a must-watch. She has a terrible poker face and I’m here for it.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth introduced new rules for the press in the Pentagon. The new rules restrict access, mandate the use of credentialed badges and forbid the press from asking about classified information. Those rules kick in today and will see many if not most press badges revoked by close of business today. Those in the press are not happy about it. Being the DGAF administration this was Hegseth’s response:
Part of the problem is that the press has been allowed too much access in the Pentagon for far too long. With the exception of the classified info thing, the rules being put in place in the Pentagon are still far more lenient than any of those in place at any other US military installation. A reporter cannot just wander about Nellis AFB, Ft Bragg or Kings Bay unescorted.
There is a sad note from the world of Baseball to pass along. Sandy Alomar Sr, Yankee and Mets star infielder and father of MLB stars Sandy Jr and Roberto, has died. Alomar Sr stole 227 bags in his 15 year MLB career.
. . . including a career-high 39 in 1971. He went on to coach for several Major League teams through 2009. He is the father of 1990 AL Rookie of the Year and 6-time All-Star Sandy Alomar Jr. and Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar.
Sandy Alomar Sr was 81.
Requiescat in Pace.
