Random News and Notes 15 October
We kick off today’s mid-month edition of RNN with a couple of notes out of Europe. Germany specifically. I ran into this one whilst scrolling Elon’s hell site.
One might think that the inevitable results of unfettered migration from third world shite holes would have been, well, f*cking obvious. The Bundestag – the Kraut Parliament – changed the laws around what the politzei could release to the press about criminal offenders. It is now just their first initial. That was changed from just the first name. They haven’t been able to release immigration status since shortly after they started allowing unlimited numbers of Arab men into the country.
There is another note out of Germany. They are purposefully tanking their economy. Current industrial output is below what it was in 2005. They shuttered all their nuclear power plants. They closed and demolished a less than 10 year old coal fired plant – one of the cleanest coal plants on earth – because the retard Greens have an outsized effect on kraut politics.
I said above that they were doing this purposefully. They are. But it gets worse. The residents of Hamburg, Germany’s largest and most productive industrial city, just voted to move to net-zero years before the rest of the country. They also vote to have a bunch of restrictions like no diesel powered cargo ships and a 19 mph speed limit in the very few areas they will allow cars.
Add all that to the restrictions on agriculture and you have a recipe for disaster economically. They will starve to death in the cold and dark.
Nothing like splitting your own throats. . .
President Trump presented Charlie Kirk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously yesterday. Charlie’s wife Erika received the medal in a White House ceremony. It would have been Charlie’s 32nd Birthday.
The medal has a Christian cross engraved on the back. It is the first time that has happened.
The President had an entertaining interaction with an ABC reporter at a press event yesterday. Watch:
“You’re ABC FAKE NEWS. I don’t take questions from ABC fake news after what you did with Stephanopoulos to the Vice President of the United States. I don’t take questions from ABC fake news!”
Savage.
That wasn’t the only savage thing the President said yesterday. He was asked about Hamas holding up their end of the Peace deal that was signed this week. Watch:
I would not want to be Hamas if they do not disarm. I get the feeling that Trump would remove any restrictions on Israel that may be in place. And that includes operations in Qatar.
It is day 14 of the Schumer Shutdown. You cannot convince me this is anything more than internal NY politics. Schumer and Jeffries are both afraid of the left-wing of their party. Chuckie already loses to AOC in a primary, and it isn’t close. They don’t have any kind of leverage. I think Speaker Johnson and much of the R leadership realize this and won’t cave.
Russ Vought, the OMB director, is planning the next round of RIFs, SecWar Hegseth and DHS secretary Noem are moving funds around to ensure service members get paid, and the Administration as a whole is prepared for the long haul.
