Slimy worm James Comey made a motion to have his charges of lying to Congress dropped. He is claiming selective and malicious prosecution. This comes after prosecutors moved to have his lawyer removed over conflict of interest issues.
Patrick Fitzgerald, Comey’s attorney, was involved in the selective leaking crap that Comey was pulling while FBI director.
The World Series is set. Last night, the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Seattle Mariners 4-3 in game 7 of their AL Championship series. The Jays are making their first World Series appearance since 1993. The Jays will face the Dodgers, with game 1 of the Series being this Friday in Toronto. First pitch is scheduled for 2000 eastern.
With last night’s loss, Seattle extends their streak of being the only team in MLB to have never appeared in a World Series. The team was founded as an expansion team in 1977 and have an unmatched record of futility. 47 seasons, no World Series appearances.
