Back at the end of October I told you about the peace deal President Trump negotiated between Thailand and Cambodia over the disputed Preah Vihear temple and environs. Well, that peace deal looks like it is about to evaporate. Cambodian officials are claiming Thai troops fired on Prey Chan village in Banteay Meanchey province, part of the disputed area.

The Thais do not deny the shooting. Instead they say they were “provoked”. What exactly that means I do not know. Being some 8500 miles removed from the events makes real analysis a bit difficult.

As much as I would have liked for it to continue – for content reasons – the Schumer shutdown has officially ended. President Trump signed the spending bill in a ceremony last night.

. . . – Illegal aliens
– Obamacare extensions
– Left-wing media outlets
– Ridiculous foreign programs
THANK YOU 47!

The Dems held out for 47 days and got exactly 0 of their legislative priorities included in the bill that actually passed. The Shutdown looks like it affected the Governors race in VA. I’m not sure about Jersey however. Some things there do not add up electorally. Anyway, it’s done.

An aide to Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth is in hot water. on 29 October, Edward York, the staffer in question, tried to help free Jose Ismeal Ayuzo Sandoval from ICE custody. Sandoval has convictions for drunk driving and has been deported 4 times previously. York appeared at an  ICE facility in St. Louis and claimed to be Sandoval’s attorney.

He was allowed to meet with the detainee and obtained a signed authorization form from him. Days later, a law firm tried to file the form, without Sandoval’s signature. York, Duckworth’s Outreach coordinator, is facing some serious charges regarding this stunt. The whole thing smells, and I suspect – but cannot currently prove – that Duckworth at least knew about this at the bare minimum.

There was a major chemical spill last night in Oklahoma. Hundreds of Weatherford residents were evacuated after a tanker truck carrying ammonia crashed spilling the toxic chemical. At least 36 have been hospitalized. No fatalities have been reported so far.

Jesse Jackson, the racial shitstirring ‘reverend’ and civil rights leader, has been hospitalized in Chicago. He is reportedly on life support. He has been diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy, an incurable degenerative nerve disease.

Thought some of you would like to know. . .
