It’s the Christian thing to do

It’s the Christian thing to do

Sipping a coffee here, I got a dispatch from a guy I know, he’s a Journeyman, his partner is a Millwright, went in together bought a 5th wheel, first modification, tore out a closest, made room for a fridge that holds a pony keg with a tap. They are not democrats, those two go around the country building stuff. They are in a park with water/eletricity hookup, my friend was tellin me, last week they put heat tape on the water hookup, they be yoopers, watching the weather is really a way of LIFE, they be close to the Texas border, give or take some miles. Some workers bring their families on the road living in trailers and such. It’s not even noon and they got people coming up knocking asking for water. They put a sign out front, WATER. There’s no money up here, the money is on the road if you are in the trades. I can see those two, sitting at the table, having few brewskis playing the 15-2. 15-4, plus the kitty while they trailer trash neighbors coming in for water. With the job site closed because of the weather, still getting paid for being on the road, why not have a few brewskis.

You know me, rather talk fun stuff, but there is another side of me which seems to keep my brow bent. I display my flag a lot with the lake as background, lost Brothers, family & friends whose gone before, I don’t know when or where the incident took place that Uncle Scotty talks about.

Was looking at this map

Should a day ever come when patience have been worn out, remember all the years we had asked nicely to leave US alone to live our lives as we see fit. I’ve never dialed 911, it’s not in me to dial 911.

See this, this don’t work me, maybe some places in the south these days, but not around here these woods.

Have a Blessed Sunday and keep your wits about you or you’ll lose your way.
