There is some good news out of the Third Circuit court of Appeals. In a win for the Trump Admin and the rule of law, a 3 judge appellate panel has ruled that district judge Michael Farbiarz did not have jurisdiction when he ordered the release of pro-palestinian scumbag Mahmoud Khalil.
The 2-1 opinion states that Congress never intended district court jurisdiction in immigration habeus cases and that power rightly belongs exclusively with immigration court judges. As of now it is unclear when Khalil will be re-arrested and deported, but it seems pretty obvious that he will be.
The US has arrested another sanctioned tanker. The M/T Veronica was part of the ghost fleet that distributed illicit Venezuelan and other sanctioned oil. This is the 6th tanker seized in recent months.
. . . in support of the Department of Homeland Security, launched from USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) and apprehended Motor/Tanker Veronica without incident. The Veronica is the latest tanker operating in defiance of President Trump’s established quarantine of sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean, proving the effectiveness of Operation Southern Spear yet again.
These operations are backed by the full power of the U.S. Navy’s Amphibious Ready Group, including the ready and lethal platforms of USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), USS San Antonio (LPD 17), and USS Fort Lauderdale (LPD 28). The only oil leaving Venezuela will be oil that is coordinated properly and lawfully. The @DeptofWar, in coordination with interagency partners, will defend our homeland by ending illicit activity and restoring security in the Western Hemisphere.
It seems this tanker owner tried the same gambit as the Bella 1/Marinera, which is reflagging as a Russian vessel and changing the name. Current registry data say she renamed/reflagged a couple of days ago as the GALILEO, with a homeport of Taganrog Russia. Didn’t work.
Preliminary CDC data seems to indicate a sharp drop in the number of overdose deaths in the US for 2025. The report shows a 21% decline from 2024’s 92,000 deaths, with drops in 45 states and fentanyl deaths halving from late 2023 peaks.
This editor questions the efficacy of the ‘war on drugs’ as it was waged in the past. People are going to get what they want regardless of what the government says or does in general. What prohibition does is empower gangs and other unsavory types. However, it seems blowing up drug boats in the open ocean might have an effect. Can it be sustained? Dunno. . .
This one . . .
Some retard lefty (but I repeat myself) decided it was a good day to harass some duck hunters on a Washington state beach. Warning language. Watch:
The dudes roasted her and that’s all well and good. But in a lot of states, the foul mouthed woman – who was dubbed the Blue Liberal Karen Fukawff Bird in the replies – committed a felony by harassing the waterfowl hunters. Anyway, the ending was 🎯, so be sure to watch the whole thing.
