Random News and Notes 18 January

This editor is not one of the myriad voices calling for the invocation of the Insurrection Act in Minneapolis. He has far too many questions about the mission to feel comfortable inserting troops into an already volatile situation. That said, the President is considering his options and has issued a WARNORD to two battalions of the 11th Airborne.

. . . quell the nonstop daily riots out here in the Twin Cities
47 could deploy them here in just DAYS

The 11th Airborne was spun up in 2022 with two brigades of the 25th ID and is based at JB Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska.

Some retard furry got what he deserved in Minneapolis on Saturday. The dumbass in the deceptively edited video below – this editor could not find the whole clip – was part of a group of anti-ICE protesters that were throwing things at law enforcement and pouring water on the pavement in sub-freezing temps in the hopes of injuring agents. The f*cktard was told several times to vacate the area but refused. That is where this video starts. Watch:

The leftist dunbass that posted the shortened video did so knowing there was more to the incident. It’s part of their playbook. Anyway, as far as this editor is concerned, ALL furries deserve that treatment. And possibly a date with Mr. Chippy.

This next one isn’t particularly news worthy. Italian PM Giorgia Meloni was in Japan for meetings with newly elected Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi. Meloni posted this selfie of the two and a anime-style conversion of the selfie.

Two nations far apart, yet ever closer.

Hajime Miura claimed his eighth 3A division world title at the 2025 World Yo-Yo Contest in Prague, blending pinpoint precision with two unresponsive yo-yos in a routine full of ladders, hops, and wraps.

The 22-year-old first won at age 11 in 2014 and has dominated with signature gear like his Yoyorecreation Autoscopy for stable, long combos. Viewers marveled at the physics-defying display.
