Today’s RNN starts downstate from this editor. A Westchester County Supreme Court jury on Thursday found psychologist Dr. Kenneth Einhorn and plastic surgeon Dr. Simon Chin liable for malpractice in Fox Varian’s 2019 transition surgery. The award includes $1.6 million for past and future pain and suffering, plus $400,000 for future medical costs.

Varian’s mother had consented amid fears of suicide, but testimony highlighted rushed evaluations. The case reflects rising lawsuits by detransitioners amid U.S. state bans and Europe’s Cass Review questioning youth treatments.

This case is the first of at least 28 malpractice cases related to transitioning children to get decided. It is likely a bellwether. That tort law will be what ends child mutilations is an irony not lost on this editor. . .

Reports out of Iran indicate that there have been several massive explosions throughout the country today. While the sources of the explosions are unknown at this time, they are not reported to be US airstrikes.

Take everything you read from here out with a grain of salt, this editor is about to speculate a bit. There are several possible causes for these explosions. From gas leaks – which is what the regime is claiming apparently- to sabotage (insert Shatner sabo-tage clip here) to preparatory strikes, or a combination of all three or something completely unrelated, anything is possible.

Here’s the SWAG: this is a combination of local action by Iranian dissidents and covert kinetic actions by outsiders (read Mossad or SAD). Are the actions coordinated? It seems likely, but there isn’t evidence of that guess being accurate much less that there was coordination. If my theories are correct – I’m at about 70% confidence – I expect it is a combination of score settling by locals and preparatory actions for a larger US kinetic operation later today/tonight.

Speaking of Iran, someone in the regime produced this nonsense.

Uh, whut? For the record, the “B-2” in the animation took off from an aircraft carrier and the Russian made S-400 AA missile launcher – no radar or control shack – is on the same carrier. Who knows what the white fighter on the ground there is. Kinda looks like an F-16 and F-18’s downs syndrome love child.

Anyway, the S-400 didn’t do them any good when the B-2s snuffed their Nuc program.

Yesterday, I told you about Don Lemon getting arrested for his part in the disruption of church services in Minnesota two weeks ago. Well, he got released on his own recognizance by a federal magistrate in Los Angeles. There were no pre-trial stipulations attached to his release, no bond or travel restrictions.

According to nearly every attorney this editor follows on Twitter, a no conditions release like this is unheard of in felony cases.

If one of you did what Lemon did you would be awaiting trial from the friendly confines of the gray bar hotel.

There are a couple of sad notes to pass along this morning.

Catherine O’Hara was 71.
