Random News and Notes 5 January

We start with a story that takes place in two cities – Austin Texas and Fayetteville North Carolina. A writer decided a quiet Sunday afternoon was the perfect time to dox the current commander of 1st SFOD-D. Harp, author of the 2025 book ‘The Fort Bragg Cartel,’ accused the commander of invading Venezuela, killing innocents, and kidnapping Maduro during Operation Absolute Resolve on January 3, 2026. The post, which included a uniformed photo, biographical info and personal information didn’t go the way Harp expected.

Within minutes photos of his front door appeared on Twitter. And not just google street view, actual, taken minutes before photos. He quickly deleted the post and locked down his account. As of this writing, he has unlocked but is blocking any-and-everyone who dares challenge him on his retardation.

This saga is ongoing. I expect Mr Harp is not going to like the ending very much.

Senator Mark Kelly is a bloviating buffoon. His recent calls for troops to disobey orders has landed him in some hot water. The DOW is now starting administrative proceedings against Kelly, citing a November video with other Democratic lawmakers and his public comments from June to December 2025 as seditious and undermining military discipline. The action invokes a law allowing post-retirement rank reviews for misconduct, including a formal Letter of Censure in Kelly’s file.

is still accountable to military justice. And the Department of War — and the American people — expect justice.

Therefore, in response to Senator Mark Kelly’s seditious statements — and his pattern of reckless misconduct — the Department of War is taking administrative action against Captain Mark E. Kelly, USN (Ret). The department has initiated retirement grade determination proceedings under 10 U.S.C. § 1370(f), with reduction in his retired grade resulting in a corresponding reduction in retired pay.

To ensure this action, the Secretary of War has also issued a formal Letter of Censure, which outlines the totality of Captain (for now) Kelly’s reckless misconduct. This Censure is a necessary process step, and will be placed in Captain Kelly’s official and permanent military personnel file.

Captain Kelly has been provided notice of the basis for this action and has thirty days to submit a response. The retirement grade determination process directed by Secretary Hegseth will be completed within forty five days.

Captain Kelly’s status as a sitting United States Senator does not exempt him from accountability, and further violations could result in further action.

These actions are based on Captain Kelly’s public statements from June through December 2025 in which he characterized lawful military operations as illegal and counseled members of the Armed Forces to refuse lawful orders. This conduct was seditious in nature and violated Articles 133 and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, to which Captain Kelly remains subject as a retired officer receiving pay.

DOW needs to do the same to the other retired/former officers involved in that seditious mess.

Scandal plagued Minnesota governor Tim Walz announced he was no longer seeking another term today.

. . .WHITE PEOPLE instead of taking accountability for what the Somalis have done. He can’t leave office soon enough.

Just think, that f*cking retard was almost vice president of the United States. Hopefully, the investigations continue and Ol’ Timmy spends the rest of his natural life as a convicted felon.

Ok, this next one is somewhat amusant. A group of Somali pirates (Look at me, I am the captain now) hijacked a Chinese fishing vessel illegally fishing in Somali waters. For the second time in two years. The same vessel.

The limited info about this incident says that illegal Chinese fishing costs the Somalis some $300 million a year. The owners of this particular vessel paid some $2 million to get it back after the 1st hijacking. Who knows what it will cost this time.I should point out the crew from the first grab are still being held and there is no word on where the current crew is.

The Chinese fishing fleet is well known for entering into another nation’s exclusive economic zone, overfishing it to the point of fishery collapse and leaving, all without permission. The Argentines sank an illegal Chinese fishing vessel in 2016.

The unrest in Iran has spread to 26 of the country’s 31 provinces. There have been serious demonstrations for the last 8 days. They have become violent in the past couple of days.

There are reports that Ayatollah Khamenei is planning to flee to Moscow if the regime loses its grip on power. He can room with his buddy Assad.

I truly hope the Persians get rid of the murderous theocracy running that country, but I have my doubts. As I said in a comment the other day, there is no organization amongst the protests and protesters. There is a large and vocal pro-monarchy faction among the diaspora, but how much sway they actually have inside Iran is unclear. Revolutions, especially those against despotic, repressive regimes, need some sort of organization.
